Michelin Defender2 - 225/65R17 102H Tire

This is my Second set of Defenders. I make my living on the road, the first set had 143,000 miles on them in three years.

I don't know if it's because they are new, or if it's the vehicle, but the tire noise inside the car is dramatic.

They are very loud

This is my second set of Defenders for my 2019 Highlander.  Only a few miles on these but I loved the first set - smooth, handled well, mileage.

I always buy Michelin

From the minute I drove away from dealership, the auto steered better, road smoother and I'm hoping for better gas mileage.

Replacement Tires

Haven’t been in big rain yet, the true test of a tire’s performance.

Hey Michelin…. where are your rain tires?

Tires are tires are tires….unless it’s raining.

Normally I only buy Michelin tires. I have a set on my 2017 Toyota Sienna and they are crumbling away for some reason.

Tires are crumbling. I hope Michelin does something about this.

I just bought and registered these tires. I have high expectations of them due to the reputation of Michelin.

It gives a smooth ride, no bumps on a cold start. I have 2 sets, winter which also are very good on snow and ice. Ran Michelin for over 50 years.

Very good ride on dry or wet road

The tiny, and I mean TINY-screw in my tire was 2” inside the edge of the tire. I’ve FIXED nails myself before that were larger & closer to the edge. But they insisted it be replaced with a new tire, which- even with the ‘warranty’- still cost me $100. This is the 2nd time I’ve had to replace a tire due to a nail “too close to the edge” of this set of 4 Michelin tires. So almost $200 for the original, and $100+ for the warranties tire!

CHECK THE TIRE FIRST BEFORE REPLACING!

This experience with the  purchase of a new set of tires was considered the best we have ever had. From the price to the installation of this. The time it took us to do a little shopping, then our new tires were on. We will recommend Sam's club tire services to family and friends.
