Smooth riding replacements

We had to replace the original equipment Dunlaps on our Rav4 following a highway hazard that left one of the tires unrepairable after about 45,000 miles. The Dunlaps were not readily available in our area and were much higher priced if you could get them. I believe these Michelin's are smoother riding than the Dunlaps, are better priced, and should wear better.

Great tires at a great price.

Great tires at a great price. They are quiet and surefooted, hold the road great. My second purchase of Michelin tires from Sam's Club. I am a very satisfied customer.

Don't settle for less!

I have always had good luck with Michelin tires. The last set of tires I had on my Honda CRV the tire salesman talked me into buying another name brand of tire. Man did I make a big mistake! First rainy day those tires didn't do to well. I couldn't wait to wear them out and get me a set of Michelin. Now I feel safer on wet roads with my new Michelin Defender 2 tires!

So glad we chose the Michelin Defender 2's

I have driven lots of new cars with new tires. This set of Michelin Defender 2 is the smoothest and quietest ride. We took a trip down South to get away from the cold but winter followed. The tires had excellent grip on the snow and ice. Despite that the fuel efficiency was great.

Repeat Michelin Customer

I recently bought two Michelin Defender2 tires just before taking a vacation. The new tires were installed on the front of my RAV4. They definitely improved the vehicle's ride and handling over my worn-out original-equipment Michelins. I did spin the tires once in the rain while taking off from a traffic light, but these all-season tires are wonderful for regular use.

Sam's clubs great tire service

This experience with the purchase of a new set of tires was considered the best we have ever had. From the price to the installation of this. The time it took us to do a little shopping, then our new tires were on. We will recommend Sam's club tire services to family and friends.

Great tires, sloppy installation

Love the tires, the price, and the warranty, but not the installation. My car requires 33 psi all around, according to the manual in the glove compartment and the plate at the driver’s door frame. Driving home, the car thought one tire had 36, two had 37, and one had 38. I waited until the tires were cold the next morning, checked them with a digital gauge, and found 36.5, 2 X 37.5, and 38.5. A second check with a traditional analog tire gauge yielded similar results. I shook my head and deflated them all to 33.0. The car agrees with 33. I’m glad I checked, but it should not have been necessary. What if my car had no tire pressure monitoring system? I would’ve assumed that new tires were properly inflated. Overinflation causes uneven wear, excessive at the middle of the tread, and very little at the edges. My new tires would have worn prematurely, and worse, might not have gripped properly when necessary.

CHECK THE TIRE FIRST BEFORE REPLACING!

The tiny, and I mean TINY-screw in my tire was 2” inside the edge of the tire. I’ve FIXED nails myself before that were larger & closer to the edge. But they insisted it be replaced with a new tire, which- even with the ‘warranty’- still cost me $100. This is the 2nd time I’ve had to replace a tire due to a nail “too close to the edge” of this set of 4 Michelin tires. So almost $200 for the original, and $100+ for the warranties tire! NOT HAPPY!

Great tires, crappy tire installation

Tires are great. Sams tire department not so much. They double booked my installation appointment which ended up costing me an extra hour of waiting. They scratched my wheels and over inflated the tires.
