I have purchased this cake many times as it is a family favorite birthday cake. It has never disappointed. Yes, it is very chocolatey ... just as the name and appearance would suggest .... if you are a chocolate lover, this will not disappoint. Pairs well with vanilla ice cream.

was pleasantly surprised to see they wrote happy valentines on it so i didn't have to, and even moreso that it was quite good- moist and not overly sweet or rich, the whole family loved it. was bigger than thought from picture- we are 5 with more than half left over, 10-12 modest slices

I finally bought one after going back and forth for awhile trying to decide if I wanted to pay that much for such a small cake. Won't be making that mistake again. The cake part is dry and tastes like a pouch of Martha White cupcake mix you can get for a buck 12 at Walmart and the chocolate mousse and white layers are flavorless. Big disappointment.

I bought this for mother's day and I was very disappointed! At this price I thought it would be extra special, but it was NOT! It looks very pretty, but the taste was the disappointment. The icing on the cake was the worst. It did not even taste like icing and the roses had something hard in them that I could not even identify. I ate them and I hope they were edible? One hint I think it is a little better served cold than at room temperature. Over I was very disappointed and would return it but it was all I had to serve for our mother's day celebration and I live an hour from the closest Sams!!!

I had this for the first time a few days ago. Not only does it present well but it also tastes amazing! I was afraid it would be too sweet for me as some chocolate desserts can be. That was not the case at all. It's light but at the same time very satisfying for the sweet tooth. Definitely will be buying this again in the very near future.

I shopped at the Annapolis store today and bought a slice of the Cafe Tuxedo Bar Cake and it is EXCELLENT! I've never had it before and now I'm in love. I will buy it again and will consider buying a whole cake for my next event. Thank you for a great, new experience!

This has been one of my favorite cakes and have purchased it for several occasions. But this most recent purchase was very disappointing. Especially after describing it to a friend saying that I was sure they would love it. For some reason, where a chocolate mousse was supposed to be, there was a thick overly sweet frosting. Better NOT to make it, than to make it wrong! If this would have been a first-time purchase, I never would have bought it again.

My wife gets requests for some of her wonderful desserts - chocolate zucchini cake, carrot cake, apple cake and peanut butter balls. When out of town this year on our anniversary, I surprised her with this chocolate tuxedo cake. We couldn't quit eating it until it was gone. Then we were so sad. We can't wait for an excuse to get another one.

I bought this cake depending on the reviews and because I like choclate cakes. Well I soon as I took a bite I was like no that's not what I was expecting, to be honest the cake was good except the filling and the top was soon sweet which I don't like at all . First and last time buying this cake 🎂

Beautifully decorated, took me 5 minutes to get in and out with Shop & Scan option now on the app. Plenty in stock even at end of day (thank you!). The fillings and icings were JUST RIGHT. Plenty OF it, but not overwhelmingly sweet like most store cakes. Very light and airy again making it the perfect delicate compliment to the airy cake layers. Everyone loved it and asked for 2nd's . Will DEFINITELY be buying this cake again. Looks elegant as well.
