Really good

The cake is good but the packaging has been changed. The cake is perched on some type of black-covered cardboard that becomes damp as the product is stored in the refrigerator. The lid DOES NOT fit. I purchased this product in August and the lid of the container fit in the grooves of the bottom of the container. The product I purchased this werk has no grooves in the bottom to hold the lid. The lid just sits on the bottom with no means of securing the lid which means air gets into the cake. Disappointed

Hair in side the cake

This looks delicious but I didn't care for it. I bought two of these for a function I was attending, since I don't bake I thought this would be great. It was kind of dry and the choclate taste was off, just not what I was expecting from Sam's. I'm not really sure what else to say other than I was disappointed & did not like it.

not worth the money

This cake is just one of many cakes from Sam’s that has the potential to be delicious but fails to live up to their aesthetic. The cake was dense and dry even with the cream filling. The chocolate was barely noticeable and uninspiring. Not worth the price. Should have just done a box cake for $4 bucks.

Delicious!

Good but pricy

This is the closest thing to satisfy my craving for Olive Garden chocolate lasagna cake. It’s $10 a slice there or I can get this whole bar for less than $17 at Sams. I used to decorate cakes and I am very picky on cake. This one is great. I searched and bought many cakes trying to find something similar. Spent lots of money. Wish I would have tried this first! I have to watch myself I will eat almost the whole thing in a day. I warned you!

First tried this cake just before Thanksgiving in 2021, took it to dinner and we’ve been hooked since. Too keep from eating it all yourself, I recommend slicing, separate using parchment paper, wrap in foil and freezer bags. Gives you a little self control with continuous access. Enjoy
