- 5 out of 5 stars review5/19/2023I bought these two months ago and have a couple thousand miles on them. They are far superior to the OEM Pirellis as you don't feel every bump in the road and are much quieter. In addition, the traction has been excellent on wet and dry pavement. Initially, I looked at these, and another brand, and the retailer told me to get these "hands down." He was 100% correct.
Great tires. Wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.
Big FishOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/28/2026Purchased first set on my other Lexus RX 350 a year ago and it was a very noticeable improvement - installed a second set on my other vehicle this month even before reaching the recommended minimum tread depth on the existing tires. We feel well protected and very pleased with the smooth ride and no road noise. Tire warranty of 60,000 miles also a plus. Best Michelin product I ever had and I'm nearly 80!
Best Tire ever
Bob69Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/2/2026This is the second set of Cross Climate 2's that I have purchased. The first set gave us 63,000 plus miles of hassle free driving. That's why I bought them again when it came time to replace the first set. Excellent in the snow and rain which happens a lot in Maine.
Excellent tires for New England weather!
KP 60Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/20/2026We've had our tires for about a month and a half now and I've been in some crummy weather, snow on the roads, freezing rain and we have found our tires to do quite well in poor weather and great on dry roads. We hope to get a lot of mileage out of them. It's our first set
Go Michelin man
JimmerOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 1 out of 5 stars review3/31/2026Tires are great when they are new, now I have had them for 2 years I will never buy Michelin tires again. Tire were great the first and part of the second year. Now they howl and extremely noisy, worse than aggressive pickup tires. Also I had the tires rotated every 5,000 miles. DO NOT BUY THE CROSSCLIMATE TIRES!
Don't Buy These Tires!

I bought these for my wife's Subaru Crosstrek when the original set needed replacement and I have never heard the end of it. They're okay around town but when you get up to highway speeds you can't hear yourself think. Since Michelins last a long time, I'll probably have to suffer with these for 5-6 years!
Noisiest Tires I've Ever Owned

We had record snowfall totals for the Winter her in MN and the tires performed exceedingly well! Great control and amazing stopping power! I saw no perceptible change in gas mileage. Just got back from a 4,000 mile road trip and mileage on the highway was just as good if not better than when I had the factory installed tires.
Could not be Happier!
MN ManOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/22/2023I got these tires last Dec 2022 for the winter and rain in Olympic Peninsula area… we live in a very steep hill 600ft straight up from the main road, and we had the worst winter in history with some Seattle frozen roads on my work days… it worked perfect! I am glad I never skid or slide on those days. Even had this on a winter storm when we had a family emergency drive to British Columbia and with my dual motor Tesla model 3, we never had a problem. I am glad this was recommended by an agent during my tire rotation in 2021, I looked it up and changed last 2022.

JamesOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/4/2026This is a repeat purchase for me. They are very wonderful looking tires, too. People notice them and compliment how nice they look. (They ask how I like them, too. I LOVE THEM ! ) They wear evenly and I believe they will exceed the 60,0000 mile warranty, again. I especially enjoy how the Michelin Cross Climate 2 grips the road and handles heavy rainfall.
Durable
PappyOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review12/1/2023I bought these last month for my 2022 Hyundai Kona. So far these have been the best tires I have ever owned. The ride is amazing. We recently had 3 in of snow here and these tires were excellent never lost grip maintained perfect stability felt confident on the road. Honestly the best all season tires you can buy.
Best all season tires made!
LoveMtires79Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review7/30/2023I've had the CrossClimate2's on my 2019 RDX Advance for four days, a few hundred miles, and here are my initial impressions: *Car drives and rides better than it ever has *Got caught in a drenching downpour and never felt so secure *Quieter than any tires I've ever owned Should be a good winter tire for us in Maine.
ANAZING tires
EricOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 1 out of 5 stars review4/20/2023I bought 4 of these tires on April 19, 2023. The road noise from these tires were not the Michelin quality that I have known for 44 years. I went back to the retailer that I bought them from and had 4 Michelin Defenders replace these CrossClimate2 tires. I am very happy with the Defenders.
Road Noise
Senior OneOriginally posted onmichelinman.comConsumer Care MIC USSenior One, glad to read that this was resolved. Hope you enjoy your new tires. - 5 out of 5 stars review2/22/2026After seeing the recommendations of many fellow Subaru Outback owners who use the CrossClimate 2 tires, I did my own research and decided to follow their lead. I could not be happier with these tires. After installation in the late autumn, we experienced two major snowfalls that put them to the test. The traction in slippery highway and side street conditions has been reassuring. The car, already good in such weather, is even better with the Michelins. Braking is assured. The ride is comfortable and quiet. It's still early days, but I am confident I made the right decision to buy the CrossClimate 2.
Best Tires for my Subie
MITIMAN2026Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/26/2024Second set I've purchased. First set still performs very well after three years and 50k miles on a Highlander. This set replaced Bridgestones which came new on the RX350. Those were noisy and did not ride well from day one. These CrossClimates are amazing and made the vehicle ride and sound sooo much better.
Great ride! Low Noise!
C12daveOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 2 out of 5 stars review10/30/2023I bought a set of four of these tires for my 2017 VW Golf. The previous tires were OEM provided Continental ProTrack TX with about 40,000 miles on them. The old tread was getting low but still acceptable for Mass inspections. They also seemed to have developed a flat spot which was noticeable at low and high speeds. The Cross Climate 2 got very good review but in hindsight I don't recall seeing anything about highway mileage. On a trip I regularly make of about 70 miles with 60 highway, I would average 40-42 mpg. Now with these new Cross Climate 2 tires I only get 35-38 mpg. So after paying a top of the line tire I am going to continue to pay more every fill up through loss in gas mileage.
Hurts gas mileage

Could feel them slipping and sliding especially when going under overpasses. Maximum safe speed was approximately 40-45 mph on I-75 (posted speed limit was 75mph). Seem to handle snowy conditions well on side streets at lower speeds. Haven't slid through any stop signs.mbpOriginally posted onmichelinman.com
- 5 out of 5 stars review2/11/2026I haven't had them long but they are a huge upgrade from my stock tires. It snowed recently in nyc and I had them put on. My car was getting stuck constantly before these. They are too good, they give me more confidence with my car on ice and snow then I think the low profile is sometimes able to handle. It feel like I have a truck, my tires have not slipped once so far.Johnny QuestOriginally posted onmichelinman.com
- 5 out of 5 stars review2/6/2026Bought the Cross Climate 2 for my 216 Honda Accord EXL (3.5 6 Cylinder). After having 2 set of Michelin OEM tires, I switch over based on multiple personal recommendations. Having now driven on dry, rainy, and snow-covered roads, I can honestly say that I recommend these tires above all else. I have driven SUVs, Subaru's, and now a sedan. Great tires for all around traction. Little road noise, and great handling.
Great Tire Selection
JWROriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/20/2026Bought these for my 2021 Toyota Rav 4 SXE Hybrid. Haven't driven in much snow yet (one time in the mtns.) but love the grippy-ness of the tires so far on wet/snowy roads in Colorado. These tires are great and I hope they last several years as they are not cheap tires. I'm all about having great tires on my cars for safety & control. There is a little bit more road noise but not that bad. I usually am playing my spotify music in my car so not a big deal. I would highly recommend these CrossClimate tires.
Great features!
LalaOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/25/2026I put these on my front wheel drive Toyota Sienna and my daughter's AWD Nissan Murano and they traction in h snow and even sleet has been great! I just had the Toyota out in about 8 inches of snow and it walked right out of my driveway and up the hill. Highly recommend!
Great in Snow
