- 5 out of 5 stars review7/30/2026This is my second set on my 21 Toyota Highlander v6 AWD. I got 71550 miles and still had tread just above the wear bar, but put a new set on with winter coming. I also replaced my wife's tires on her new CX90 Turbo PP. great tires!
Happy Cross Climate 2 customers
MarkOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/4/2026I wanted tires for my daughter car to be safe while driving in Canada in all weather conditions, (right now is raining a lot) These tires gave me that peace of mind. Also the SUV feels like new with these her new "shoes"

MaxOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 3 out of 5 stars review8/1/2026These tires come highly recomended by the dealer but i find in water my Suv wants to hydroplane. i have had two sets of this type of tires. They wear, seem to drive decent in snow but just not great in the rain.
an okay tire

My rear tires on my minivan have gone completely bald in 2 years and only 20k miles.
Terrible Wear

So the tread on these Michelin CrossClimate2 tires is Awesome. I had to order them because generally most Toyota Camry drivers—or other “family sedan” drivers don’t choose this tire. They do not ride as “smoothly”as“regular”tires but I’m fine with that. Safety is my priority. I highly recommend these tires if you regularly travel country roads, dirt roads, narrow winding roads or you have snowy winters.
GREAT TIRES
Julie - 5 out of 5 stars review3/23/2023Excellent traction and stopping power better than any others tires and I only buy Michelin tires. At first I wasn't happy with the design because they are directional tires which means they can only be rotated front to back and back to front. The original tires only lasted less than 32,000 miles. I admit I could go further but I don't take chances on the last 3/32” of tread left. I highly suggest these tires.
Excellent traction and stopping.

These tires have met the challenge in every way. Since I frequently have grandkids in my car I needed to make safety my top priority. As a retired UPS driver, I know how important tires are to that goal. These will be my go-to tires for the foreseeable future.
Great tires!
LetsdriveOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 4 out of 5 stars review12/2/2022I bought the H speed rated instead of the V hoping to get a softer ride. The 19 rims on the 2015 Lexus RX 350 don't ride very well. Impressive stopping ability. I mean impressive. Good grip on wet roads. Handles well. Fuel mileage dropped 2mpg. After 18 months I'm pleased with the wear. Very smooth ride on smooth surfaces. Harsh on really bad roads. One tire made an awful noise constantly. Warranty replacement fixed that problem. Almost silent on smooth roads. These tires must be difficult to manufacture. Enormous differences from tire to tire in the amount of wheel weights needed to get them balanced. I've never had a set of tires that needed this many wheel weights. Correctly balanced the car is smooth at 85 MPH. Outside of...
Smooth, quiet, ferocious stopping ability.
KeithcOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 4 out of 5 stars review3/6/2026Just got the crossclimate 2 tires yesterday. Handling and the ride is amazing. The noise is the same as my old worn out tires on asphalt sounds like mudding tires. The balance out is the performance outweighs the sounds. They ar not quiet tires by any means. However ride and handling is far superior. Come on Michelin make the cross climates quiet down without sacrificing performance.
Performance vs noise
Cajunguy82Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/17/2026We chose the CrossClimate2 tires because they were very highly rated by Consumer Reports where they highlighted the performance, traction and durability. We have now owned and driven on these tires for nine months and could not be happier with them. We get a lot of different weather with occasional very heavy rainfall and even snowfall over a foot at times. These tires perform extremely well in all occasions and we are particularly impressed with the traction of these tire in snow and heavy rainfall. In fact, when the factory tires have worn out on our new Honda Ridgeline truck, we will be replacing them with the CrossClimate2's.
Perfect replacement tires for our 2023 Honda CRV
NWA WILSONOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/19/2023First 2,000 miles my fuel mileage dipped from 41mpg to 38mpg (hybrid) but once they wore in they have been the most sure footed and quiet tires I've ever driven. I commute 120miles per day and currently have 43,000 miles on them. Still silent and trouble free. Wet/rain and snow braking and handling and overall performance makes this tire by far the best car tire on the market.
Incredible design
Long distance commuterOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/26/2024I'm on my second set of the Michelin CrossClimate 2 tires on my 2016 Ford edge. Living in Maine, these are by far the absolute best tires I've had on my vehicle in over 40 years. Unbelievable traction on snow and ice, rain, and water on the roadway. The ride is quiet and highly responsive. I recommend these to anyone.
Best tires ever for New England
Tom BOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review4/4/2026I just bought these tires to replace my old tires from 2008 on my Infiniti with 26,300 miles in my car. I spent days shopping for a great tire. Michelin definitely makes the best tires in the world. Been using them for 40 years. These are higher price but well worth it. No road noise at all. Same gas mileage. These are awesome tires. They definitely work very well in all types of weather. I love how they handle and look. They look sporty on my crossover SUV. Most mechanics recommend these if you can afford them. You get what you pay for. Superior quality. Highly recommend.
Awesome tires!! The best. Michelin is tht way to go. Great performance. No road noise and better handling. They look great on my car. Superior quality.
StallionreOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/29/2026I just put on my second set of Cross Climate2's on my 2016 Outback. Besides the fact the Outback is just the best car for the mountains and snow, adding the Cross Climate's just adds that extra layer of reliability and safety. Traction is amazing in sow and rain! I would recommend these tires to anyone looking for a great all season tire!
Second set
LMNOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/5/2026This is the second set of crossclimates I have had on two different vehicles. The first was a Hyundai Santa Fe and more recently a Honda Ridgeline. The improvement in the overall vehicle handling was remarkable in both cases coming from the the standard tires fitted by the manufacturers. The quietest tire I've driven on in many years. The wind around the doors which I couldn't hear before now annoys me on the Ridgeline. Its the middle of winter here in Michigan, these things are as good as snow tires, but last 5 time longer.
Second set, great tires, drive 50k per year.
mikiwiOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 4 out of 5 stars review3/12/2026These tires have been great for my midsize SUV. They work great in all weather. They've done great in the snow. The only thing I would say that has not been good is the snow get stuck in the wheel well I think because of the way the tires traction is designed.
Great tires that work well in the snow
Meg8278Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/27/2026I put a set on my ford escape and have driven nearly 70,000 miles on them so far. They still have decent tread on them and perform very well. I have noticed that they get a little louder after about 60,000 miles. But most tires don't even make it that far. I recently bought another set for our Santa Fe.
Excellent tires
AlOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/2/2023I put these on my 2016 denali XL. My expectation was they would be a good snow tire. I was wrong. They are a freeking awesome snow tire. Excellent traction and handling in snow conditions and this year in California has been a real test. They are quieter and smoother on highways than the OEM tires that came with the Denali.
Better tire than i ever expected
Snow makes me kiddyOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review5/12/2023TWO THUMBS WAY UP!!! The Michelin Cross Climate 2 tires have exceeded my high expectations! The most notable, unexpected feature is a much smoother, controlled driving experience on my 2020 Acura MDX/AWD. I'm really impressed and pleased with my purchase. On a side note, the tire's really do enhance the look of the car (WOW!).

AcuraJimOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 1 out of 5 stars review3/31/2026Tires are great when they are new, now I have had them for 2 years I will never buy Michelin tires again. Tire were great the first and part of the second year. Now they howl and extremely noisy, worse than aggressive pickup tires. Also I had the tires rotated every 5,000 miles. DO NOT BUY THE CROSSCLIMATE TIRES!
Don't Buy These Tires!
