Hi Rahel. Thank you for taking the time to rate the SleepToGo mattress. We appreciate your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you're finding the mattress to sleep hot and are happy to provide some additional information.First, for maximum breathability, we recommend using bedding made of natural fibers such as 100% cotton, linen, or hemp. These materials allow easier air flow and are naturally cooler.Next, while we understand that many people prefer to use a mattress protector, for those who tend to sleep warm, it may not be the best choice. If you are comfortable using the mattress without a protector, we suggest removing it as this will also maximize the air flow and provide a cooler sleep. Finally, if you feel that it is in your best interest to return the mattress, we certainly understand and would encourage you to reach out to our dedicated Sam's Club Serta team at (385) 256-9674 for additional assistance. Best, The Serta Team
