We ❤️ this brand of whole coffee beans.

I used to order Luna Roasters coffee directly from their website- but now that it’s available at Sam’s I ran right out to get some.  This Peruvian medium roast is really excellent.  It is light/medium bodied- full of flavor and aroma- and at Sam’s the value is incredible.  I am thrilled!!

The roasting date on the bag was five months old.  Way too old for craft coffee beans.  When I opened the bag the beans looked dry and old, they didn’t have that oily, moist sheen you see on freshly roasted beans. The Luna Roasters web site emphasizes they roast right before they ship, but this wasn’t close.  Not sure if the problem was due to them or Sam’s Club.  I did email the Roasters and they made apologized and sent me a bag that was roasted the day before shipping.

Watch the roasted dates on your coffee!

This is best freshly roasted, tasting whole bean coffee on the market. It is smooth tasting without a lingering bitterness in the mouth. The roasted date is stamped on the container, and is the only one I can find with a roasted-on date, as opposed to a Best use-by date. The difference in the taste is remarkable.
