It allows me to shake a little seasoning in our chilis as well without having to open an individual packet. I would highly recommend adding this product to your cupboard for Tuesday taco night!!

I made ground beef tacos last night. I had purchased the Old El Paso crunchy kit plus an extra packet of original seasoning. I've used Old El Paso products before and was not concerned. We used 2lbs of ground beef to make the tacos. They were so spicy (hot) that it was a struggle to eat them, and not just for me I don't have a high heat tolerance, but I've purchased this before and never had a problem. Has the recipe changed or could it have been mislabeled product?

I have purchased this seasoning forever. It’s a family favorite. The most recent batch I made in March 2025 was really off, however. I don’t know if they changed the recipe or if they put the wrong seasoning in the 2 packets I had…? Or was there an issue with the seasoning? But the seasoning is usually orangey in color and it was a white/grey color. Also it didn’t taste right. Now I’m hesitant to purchase again because I don’t want to waste all that expensive meat. Or risk getting my family sick in case there’s an issue of some sort.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always keep Old El Paso taco seasoning in my cupboard. You never know when you will Need a taco! I also use it to add flavor to my fried chicken, chilli, and pork chops. Great item to keep on hand.

I searched if the seasonings had a recipe change. I use the mild taco seasoning for many different things and the past month I can really taste a difference. The mild taco seasoningtastes less salty and more spicy. I cannot handle spice and I cannot eat the mild anymore. I'm very disappointed about this change. I am curious as to why it changed? Why change a good thing:(
