[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use 1.5 lbs of ground beef per 1 packet of Old El Paso Taco Mix. There is still plenty for flavor even after adding an additional half pound of burger. My two boy will not allow me to try other brands. It’s the perfect blend of heat and flavor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was easy to use, and it made our tacos come out like they do in a restaurant. The only draw back is I wish it came in larger packages so you don’t need to use multiple when making a larger quantity.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this seasoning! We use it on chicken and on ground beef, and it always makes for the best Mexican food night at home! Sometimes I honestly like the way my husband cooks with this more than our local taquerias!

I bought this to be able to get more consistent seasoning of the ground beef when making a pound and a half of meat. It's an awesome concept but with terrible delivery. The top of the seasoning has either a shaker or full open slot. Problem is the seasoning clumps up and you get too much or not enough out. The shaker side is pointless because it just clogs up. A simple take off lid would be much better to just stick a measuring spoon in and get out the desired amount. I use 1 full packet of seasoing and 2 tbsp. from the mix. I just recently cut the top off the container so I could just stick the measuring spoon in the container to the desired amount of seasoing.

Old El Paso taco seasoning is great along with the soft and hard taco shells!!! Everyone loves Old El Paso!!! I would definitely recommend it to everyone!

I have used your taco seasoning for many years. I bought a dozen packets of reduced sodium. Two of the packets so far have not been reduced sodium like the label said. Instead they were extremely hot and salty. I have used the reduced sodium dozens of times so I know the difference. I also noticed that people have been complaining about this same issue with both the original and mild being extremely hot all of a sudden for months now. What is being done about this? You reply to their reviews but people including me are still having the same problem months later.

I use to love the original seasoning, since I moved out west the flavor changed and is WAY too spicy. I’m using far less in more, meat 2lbs, and instead of good flavor it’s just burning hot with chili powder. I’ll try the mild before I totally give up but I thought it may be a different regional recipe but everything I can find online shows it’s the same as I would get back east.
