[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Old El Paso Taco Seasoning Review Old El Paso Taco Seasoning is a convenient choice for whipping up a quick taco night, with a balanced mix of spices that most will enjoy. It’s flavorful and easy to use, making it perfect for those who want a simple, fuss-free option. However, while it delivers on taste, it doesn’t quite capture the complexity or richness of traditional Mexican seasonings. The blend feels tailored for a more general palate, with milder spice levels and a focus on familiar flavors rather than the bold, authentic notes found in true Mexican cuisine. If you’re looking for a classic taco seasoning that’s kid-friendly and dependable, this is a great pick. But for those who want a more authentic experience, you might need to add extra ingredients like cumin, smoked paprika, or chili powder to amp it up.

We have used this taco seasoning for as long as I can remember. Always the best……..you’ve done something……it’s changed so much!!!! Not nearly as good as it used to be. Not sure why companies do that……looking for different brand now!! Really disappointing!!

I choose old Ella so because it is the perfect sauce for the meat . I also make taco salad I like the flavor it gives to the salad . I have used other brands but always go back to old Ella so seasoning .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It definitely gets the job done! If we don’t have a spice blend at home we use this as our backup spice skit for tacos. The only downside is how much sodium this one has but every now and then won’t kill you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m American with Mexican roots, so when it’s taco night I usually mix the seasonings from scratch but if you are time crunch this seasoning is always in my pantry. To me it has too much salt so I only use about 5/6 of the pouch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this brand for years to cook Taco's for the family and we love it every time.I would definitely recommend this product to ours. Old El Paso Taco seasoning is always flavorful and delicious.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this taco seasoning for a variety of things - I use it as marinade with lime juice and extra garlic on chicken, beef, pork on the grill, use it with hamburger for regular tacos, in the pressure cooker with beef, bake chicken with it, have used it as seasoning with mayonnaise for a southwest pasta salad, made cheese and sour cream dips with it. I do add a little cayenne pepper to it when I’m using it, I like that it is reduced sodium so every little bit helps. It’s got great flavor and I can do a variety of dishes with it so it’s very versatile.

always an excellent product. I especially like making taco freezer packages. I cook 3lbs ground beef or turkey, onion, add a can of rotel tomatoes, 3 pckgs taco seasoning and 3 cans of kidney or black beans and a can of green chilies. after cooked I divide it into 6 freezer packages and whenever we have a busy day we have an easy taco or taco salad meal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always use the same name brand taco seasoning. When my local store was out of my usual brand, I tried Old El Paso Taco Seasoning Mix. Exactly the same as the higher-priced name brand, maybe even better, at a slightly lower price.
