Old El Passo is all I use. People always rave when i use it in recipes for church.

very flavourful taco mix

Great deal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This taco seasoning is amazing! This is my go to Taco seasoning. It does a great job at giving the ground beef for the tacos flavor. It is not too spicy and tastes amazing. The consistency is nice and the texture blends well with the ground beef.

I love how simple this is to use and it is the same everytime. I brown my meat and then just place the seasoning in the pan with water. No measuring for the seasoning needed (water needs it tho) My young daughter can eat it and loves it. So it isn't spicy at all! As soon as everyone smells it they know it is taco night.

Love the flavor of old el paso taco seasoning mix! It's the only kind I'll use,it's the best!! It's very good and I even love the aroma of it! It is definitely better than any of the other kinds I have tried! I actually use this mix in a lot of different recipes like Taco dip my absolute favorite! Has the right amount of spiciness! The consistency is great!! And intensity is good!

I don't know what has happened I have used the taco seasoning for decades I think they have changed the recipe and now it tastes awful and looks worse - no colouring no chili taste and it's ooey gooey I am not buying Old El Paso ever again until they change the recipe back it was so bad my husband wouldn't eat it it looked so pale and strange. I am going to try to make home made taco seasoning

★★★★★ Old El Paso taco seasoning is hands-down one of the best pantry staples I’ve used for quick, flavorful meals. The flavor is perfectly balanced—savory, slightly smoky, and just the right touch of tanginess that brings out the richness of the meat without overpowering it. You can really taste the blend of spices like cumin, chili, and garlic working together in every bite. The aroma alone is incredible while cooking—it fills the kitchen with that classic Tex-Mex scent that instantly makes you hungry. It smells warm, inviting, and authentic, like something you’d get at a good restaurant. As for spiciness, it hits a perfect middle ground. There’s a mild kick that adds excitement but isn’t overwhelming, making it great for both spice lovers and those who prefer something more family-friendly. The intensity of the seasoning is spot-on too—one packet goes a long way in coating the meat evenly, delivering consistent flavor in every bite without needing to add much else. Whether for tacos, burritos, or even taco salads, this seasoning mix makes it incredibly easy to create a delicious, crowd-pleasing meal every time.

Old El Paso brings a full Mexican flavor to home made tacos. It has just the right amount of spices where the entire family can enjoy it without being overwhelming. The aroma is so good that our mouths are watering just walking in the kitchen. It’s the best ever!
