These cakes are the way to go all the way especially the one that you can put the picture on. It is everything it was so fresh and delicious. I ordered the marble for my daughter 16th birthday.

I rated thus cake a 3 because i dont like the fact that they dont allow you to customize your cake decoration the colors you want, they only have a set color scheme and i dont like that!

Tasted wonderful, but the top was printed, not written. Very disappointed, but the birthday party was the same day. We bought it anyway. Next time we will go to Ricks.

Cant stand the fact yoy can only order online. Can't talk to someine in bakery to be specific about what you want. Dont want to have to pay first for a "custome cake" sight unseen specially when you have only but the most basic options for design. Cant add picture of choice anymore. Very disappointed in thw change. Prior would order all holidays cakes from sams now looking elsewhere.

I went to pick my cake up between 4p-5p as scheduled. i waited 30 minutes and no one was working in the bakery or would any other employee help me. 30 minutes later an employee (not a manager) agreed to go and give me my cake, stating,,,I hope I don't get in trouble. I did appreciate his help or I wouldn't have gotten my cake. Not sure why I got a cake with white icing all over and the inscription was in the same white icing. I was so upset...but who was going to fix it! smh...could read that my was 85 and grand daughter was 16!

The white cake and whipped topping were delicious. The decorations were super lame. I didn't feel like I overpaid for the 1/2 sheet cake, but I would have been embarrassed to display it at the baby shower for which I ordered it. I will probably order elsewhere next time and be okay with paying more.

I love how easy it is to order a customized cake using the Sam's Club App/Website. You can choose the cake (chocolate, vanilla or marble), icing type (buttercream or whipped cream), icing color (18 choices) and the message. Then you choose the day/time when you want to pick it up. You enter your credit card during the order process and it gets charged when you collect the cake so there is no checkout process when you pick it up - the label says the cake is already paid for. We picked one up for a Community Emergency Response Team graduation and it couldn't have been easier. Everyone enjoyed the cake - it was moist and tasty. The half sheet was enough for 40+ guests. A few asked where we got it and were surprised to hear the price which is such a great deal!

I have gotten Sams Club cake for years. It is the whole reason I have a membership. The taste of the icing is different and not as good as it used to be. Now you have to order and prepay on the ap with few decoration options. I will pay a little more for a better tasting cake where I don’t have to buy a membership. I will not need to renew my membership.

Ordering online is horrible. It says you can order a custom cake but you can only choose the color options they provide. I called the store on cattlemen for help and she was rude and would not help at all. I called another store and they took my CUSTOM order over the phone with no problem. Horrible was to do business

Tasted great and the price is unbeatable for the quality. Knocking off a star because the "customizations" ended up pretty generic and not what was selected. Probably could be resolved by calling or ordering in person and emphasizing the importance of color or design, if necessary. - Balloons weren't the colors I chose - No colored icing around the bottom or lining the top design so didn't match the party (2-year-old's birthday) - No little gift packages sticking up around the top as seen in the photos
