Could not be more pleased with this cake! Great taste and moist--could not ask for anything better. Decorated exactly as I had specified. Highly recommend Sam's cakes as compared to cakes from other stores

The decorating and the custom message looked good, but like in real life, it’s not just about the looks. The cake is made with too much sugar and imitation vanilla which ends up giving it an almost caramel flavor when baking, but not in a good way. The chocolate or vanilla flavor of the marble sponge is overpowered because of this. The buttercream frosting is okay, however it is very thin and not whipped enough. The sugar shouldn’t feel gritty when chewing. So much for a Happy Birthday…….the overall experience was below mid!
