Half sheet smaller than standard half sheet

Standard sized half sheet cake is 13 x 18, this cake was 12 x 16. This doesnt seen an issue, but for me it was. I ordered a custom edible cake topper online to place on the cake. Instead of fitting nicely on the cake, it overhung on the sides. I wish they had the cake measurements before you order the cake.

Not A Fan of the New Online Ordering System

I have ordered customized cakes from Sam's for years. This new "online order" only process limits customization and I don't care for it at all. If I want something really custom, I'll have to find somewhere else to go. I went to the store in Evergreen Park, IL to order a cake and was directed to the book with the QR code to order online. I was told I could leave notes for customization and there was no notes section before checkout. I had to search out a manager because the people in the bakery would no longer acknowledge my presence. I explained what I wanted to the manager. He took my number and said someone would call me. I did receive a call the next day. I explained that I wanted to order the celebration cake but I wanted the balloons to be in the middle of the cake instead of the on the side. I was told by the cake decorator that the cake designs are set and they cannot alter them in any way or they could get in trouble. If nothing can be altered, then how is the cake a custom cake??? Totally not a fan of this new system. Please bring back the old way of ordering and customizing cakes. I can't say that I will use Sam's bakery in the future.

The cake tasted really good but it was decorated terribly. The writing was not centered. Ordering online gives such limited options.
