I do NOT recommend ordering gift cards for a pick up or for an on line order! I'll never do it again. If I want one in the future, I'll go inside the Club & purchase it, despite pick up & on line being more convenient. My original pick up order was placed, but the gift card had to be shipped & delivered 2 days later. FedEx lost my package, & finally notified me that it could not find it in their system, after I had filed a tracking case with them. I called Sam's Club Customer Service but I had to specifically request to speak to a Manager to discuss the problem, & secure a refund. The first tier Customer Service Agent said she could not issue a refund. It was a nightmare compared to other drive up & on line ordering & shipping businesses that I frequent. BTW, the original order for the gift card was included in a multi-item pick up, but when I arrived for my other pick up items, I was told that gift card had to be shipped & told that gift cards are not eligible for pick up service at the Club. That is “crazy” in my opinion, when the gift card was on the shelf inside the Club. I learned my lesson with this situation, & I will be a much wiser shopper the next time I want to purchase a gift card from Sam's Club.
