I use this brand of oil in my deep fryer for various foods, such as fries, pies, egg rolls, doughnuts. The flavor can't be beat. I have used canola and vegetable oils in the past, but they do not surpass the peanut oil with flavor. The other oils tend to leave a burnt taste on foods, where the peanut oil does not. I had read that peanut oil is the ideal oil to use when frying at high temps. I have used this oil to deep fry turkey in the turkey fryer, and once again the turkey turned out moist on the inside and pleasantly crisp on the outside. One last thing to mention, I resorted to ordering online, since peanut oil was not available when I went to my local stores. Thank you for saving the day, Walmart.

It is not always easy to find Peanut Oil for Deep Frying a Turkey for Thanksgiving. I knew I had to start looking early, but did not have any success finding it in any store. I started to panic a bit thinking I would be out of luck this year. Then I thought of looking on-line for Peanut Oil, and quickly found it listed through Wal-Mart. I was very pleased with the price, placed my item in the cart, and crossed my fingers that it would actually get to me, and On Time. Within minutes I received my Confirmation and a scheduled date for arrival at my house well in advance of Thanksgiving. I now have the Peanut Oil and I thank Wal-Mart for making my day.

This peanut oil is advertised and sold as "pure" peanut oil. When viewing the product online, the ingredients are not visible. When the product arrived (very quickly I might add) I read the ingredients and there were chemical preservatives in the peanut oil including TBHQ and dimethylpolysiloxane. That makes this peanut oil "adulterated" and not "pure". I will be sending it back

I bought the cooker and oil The cooker needed a MAJOR tune-up before it could be safely used. Not hard to do but time consuming. Crummy casting. The whole thing had to be assembled and reassembled several times before all the casting flaws were removed and the flame adjusted properly. I lent a neighbor my 3 ga box of oil so he could cook his turkey. When I went back to the store to buy some more, I couldn't find it anywhere. I had to re-order this oil online and wait for it. No big deal in the scheme of things. Just wasn't available when I needed it. I got it in time for Christmas dinner and was easy enough to use and the turkey was quite good if I do say so myself!
