good looking tire

I researched different tires for my Trailblazer and wanted tires good in snow and gravel/sand for boat launching. I have not been disappointed. I am especially amazed at how they function in snow, and seem to grip quite well even on ice. I cannot comment on wear as I've had them just 10,000 miles so far, but they seem to be wearing reasonably.

Bought them for F250 ...

Bought them for F250 Super duty, Use it to pull 32 ft. fifth wheel. Was skeptical of tire at first, (First time I ever bought a set of Michelin), am very impressed with them. Truck & trailer weigh together 20,000 lbs, had them for 5 years and 40,000 miles. No problems and they have at least 50% tread left.

Typical Michelin

And by typical, I mean awesome! I only have about 500 miles on them so far, but they've been great. We got the first snowfall of the season literally while I was getting these tires installed. They have been great in the snow and great on dry pavement. They behave predictably. They are slightly louder than my OEM tires, but I expected that with an AT tire. I bought these after having 2 sets of the original LTX AT's years back. Hopefully these hold up as well as those did!

Lasted over 80,000 on a 7,300lb Truck!

Best truck tire for all around use that I have ever had. They lasted a little over 80,000 miles on my 2007 Chevrolet 2500 Classic Crew Cab 4x4 Diesel that weighs around 7,300 lbs. About half of those miles were pulling a 14,000 trailer and I live in place where the ambient temperature is over 100 degree's 8-9 months of the year. I also never had a Michelin LTX AT2 go flat or fail. The LTX AT2 is a quiet, comfortable ride, and outstanding traction tire. They also always felt stable even when pulling a trailer. A good comparison for the mileage these tires lasted, the tires that came on the truck from the GM factory only lasted 35,000 miles. I sold a friend on Michelin tires by betting him that my truck would reverse out of a driveway that was snow covered and had a moderate incline. He said, better hit the 4x4 button, and I said don't need to, these tires are awesome. My truck backed right out of the driveway and he was sold. These tires were great every mile drove and the only things I had to do for them was maintain the correct tire pressure and rotate them. Even though they are on the more expensive side, I believe they are worth every penny.

Best Tire I've Ever Owned

This is the second set of these tires I've purchased. The only reason I bought them is because I bought a new set of wheels one inch larger. The first set of tires has 48,000 miles on them and they are worn less than 25%. There is still 75% left to go! They handle in the rain better than any tire I've owned. Snow traction is unbelievable. I can leave everyone at the stoplight, spinning their tires in the snow. Wear pattern straight and even. I say buy these tires. You will not be disappointed!

Don't waste your time

We bought a 2012 Ford F350 Crewcab, Shortbed, 4x4 Powerstroke one year ago. As of last night we have 25,100 miles on these tires; the ones that are suppose to get 60k, well the two rear tires are at the wear bars. I surely wouldn't think when you buy a new vehicle one should be replacing tires at 25k. The wear is terrible, the road noise is great, as is not there and the ride is very good. Something as to be done about the tire wear.....one year, REALLY!

It's mental comfort, ...

It's mental comfort, which my LTX A/T provide me when my son is heading up the pass in the SUV for a day of skiing. That makes me plan to eventually replace them with the LTX A/T2. They've kept him on the road while the shoulders are cluttered with less fortunate vehicles equipt with inferior tires.

Great truck tire

I purchased these tires for use in the high desert of Southwestern Idaho. They are excellent in the off road areas, strong with lots of traction. The bonus is they are not noisy on the highway and provide all the comfort I need without a ridged ride. My last set of tires were ruined by the same road conditions that I drive these on and the LTX A/T2's are holding up great. I would recommend the LTX A/T2 for any serious off road enthusiast, they are the best on and off road tires I have ever owned.

great ride, great traction

came home the other night after tempatures had dropped through out the day, with freezing rain under a small amount of snow. I had no problem what so ever with traction even in two wheel drive. Before I would have had to lock in the front hubs and still wouldn't have had the traction that these AT/2 have.

Good Ride, Low Mileage

I bought a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD and the Michelin P265/70R18 A/T2's came standard on the vehicle for towing. The first set rode well, but only got 40,700 miles before the tread wear caused me to replace them. Michelin's were about the only tire on the market I trusted that came with a load range E, so I replaced the originals with the same tires. This set is at 37,000 and already are in need of replacement due to tread depth getting shallow. Both sets of A/T2's rode well, but the tread life is not overly impressive, especially for the price of the tires. There are new options out on the market with some pretty established tire brands. Trying a different brand next time around to see if they get better tread life with equal performance.
