Great on dry pavement. Terrible on ice/snow and mud.

These on/off road tires came on my new GMC Denali purchased in Dec., 2018. They handle great on dry pavement. They are terrible on ice and snow coverred gravel roads. I am replacing them before winter with 20,000kms. GM did a terrible job of picking these tires as an on/off road tire. Good for off highway down alley to driveway. Waste of money. Not safe off dry pavement.

Best tire ever!

I put these on my 2006 Silverado 1500 when the factory tires needed replacement at just under 60k miles. They lasted 106k miles, so when i needed a new set I bought them again. Another 96k later when I traded that truck in they still had many miles left. My New 2500hd come with them...thrilled!

Very disappointed in Mileage and Traction

Over 20 years of Michelin tires, the AT-2 is the first I've been disappointed with. 60,000 mile warranty, but I've had to replace 2 AT-2s with less than 40,000 miles on them and I have 2 more that are currently in need of replacement with 36 - 38 thousand miles on them. The cuts and sipes on the inside and outside 2 inches of the tire, which provide traction in wet or slick driving conditions, completely wear away after about 33 thousand miles. Tire shop states mileage warranty not available until wear is down to 4/32, but tires are slick @ 7/32. Not happy!

closer to 45000 miles

Tires will not come close to 60,000 miles more like 45 to 47,000 miles. Because we have a dual rear wheel they are not rotated as often as recommended but to only last 75% of the warranty is probably below average. Wondering is there are different specs for tires put on new vehicles vs. buying retail as a customer.

A Tire That Works!

I've had these tires on my F350 truck since new in 2019. I only use the Michelin AT2 in the summer. All my driving is on pavement and occasionally tow my 36 Ft RV. The Michelin AT2 grip the pavement extremely well on the roads in the interior of B.C. Best of all they offer a very smooth and quiet ride. I highly recommend these tires for any 1 Ton Truck. Thanks Michelin!!

Pure garbage

This is my second set of 285 75r16 E AT/2 tires on my 05 Duramax. I neither use the truck to tow or haul. Michelin "pro-rated" the first set that were worn out at 8k, now the second set same exact thing, premature wear. At 9k miles the second set is now at 16/32 which is 50% WORN OUT. The truck is perfectly maintained and aligned front to back, yet the truck eats these tires. The OEM tires lasted 51k. Wear pattern is even, these Michelin's do not last. Let me repeat that 1/2 the tread is gone in under 10,000 miles on these tires in light-duty application, can't imagine if I used the truck to tow or haul...

Fantastic Tire

This is an outstanding tire. While Michelin warranties them for 60,000 miles, I got 70,000 out of my first set. Traction definitely declined the last 10,000 miles, but for most of this tire's useful life, the traction was pretty good. I just returned from a fishing trip to the Outer Banks of North Carolina where I did a lot of driving in deep, soft, sugary sand. I never got stuck, but if you drive on sand, make sure you deflate your tires to between 15 and 18 psi. And drive slow. I'm about to buy my 4th set for my Tacoma, that should tell you how much confidence I have in this tire.

Great tires, worth the money

I have had 2 sets of these tires on my 2009 Honda Pilot. The factory Uniroyals lasted 65,000 km, First set of Michelin ATS-2 tires lasted 115,000 km, my second set of ATS-2 tires lasted 112,000 km, I have just bought my third set of ATS-2 tires . I'm a diesel mechanic and maintain our own vehicles and I'm a firm believer of buying quality and buying once and buying right. Very impressed with Michelin Tires.

Premature Wear

The tire is wearing prematurely on a 2020 GMC 3500HD/diesel crew cab long box with only 11,700km on the odometer. The new spare has 13/32” tread depth, while the RR 8/32”, LR 7/32”, RF 9.6/32”, LF 9.3/32”. The rears are worn nearly 50% already. There is about 1,500km of towing on pavement on the tires, the rest is all pavement; with about 300km of off-roading. I anticipate complete replacement at 20,000km~25,000km; therefore this is not a 100,000km tire. The tread depth new of 13/32” is also less than the website specs of 14.5/32”. The tire is quiet, rides nice, handles well, but won't last.
