I bought my first set of Michelin tires in 2002 and have bought nothing else since. I bought these LTX AT2 for our 2008 Kia Sorento EX 4X4, and 70,000 miles later, they are still going strong. In fact, I have just ended a 4,000 mile book tour across the United Stated towing a 24' travel trailer. It appears I have 3,000 to 5,000 miles left before it will be time to replace them. As with all the Michelin tires I have bought in the past, these have exceded my expectations! I have used these in snow, mud, gravel, and cross country RV trips all with success!

I am now shopping for my third set. I have about 80,000 miles on this set. One thing I have noticed, do not inflate to max pressure on the sidewall. Stick to your vehicle's recommendation. I have always run 45 psi in mine and my 2000 Silverado handles very well. Had a quick oil change place pump them up to 80 psi once without asking me. It made for an incredably harsh ride with a lot of sliding/understeer. Follow vehicle recommendations and you will be fine.

Got 70,000 miles on m A/T2 and can still run these tires. Might replace them before winter is over. You can try other tires but Michelin is by far the best tire on the market. The A/T2 isn't the most aggressive looking off road cutting tire on the market, but if you spend most of your time on concrete yet still go off road which most of us do this is the tire to have.

Since Oct 12 (3 months now), I've run these things in heavy rain on highways, slick (and rather deep) mud on river boat 'launch' areas, and in heavy snow in the mountains (where I live) with no major slippage issues. Great control and smooth, quiet ride. Very pleased.

I put these tires on my 2000 Ford Explorer 2 years and 60000 miles ago and have been very pleased with them.Ride quality is excellent with little to no noise (mainly has to do with road surface).Granted,it's not an aggressive off-road tire,but for the kind of off-roading I do (field roads and logging roads),they're great.Rotated every other oil change (6000 miles),will probably get 70000 miles out of them.Definately will be buying again

A few months ago I wrote a review stating I had over 155,00 miles on my tires. This morning I notice my odometer reading telling me I had over 175,00 miles on these threads. I can't believe these tires have the perfect combination of rubber compound to give a person, safe driving in bad weather, traction off road, and the all important long life which makes my live a bit easier not having to replace expensive tires. Go ahead Michelin Man !

When choosing my tires I looked at just about everything, warranty, Sidewall Rating, Tread Design, and the look of the Tire itself along with the Price. I chose my Michelin LTX A/T2 because of several reviews and all of Tech Specs on these tires, I'm putting them on an F-250 4X4 Super Duty Diesel so I wanted This Major Investment to work well with my Truck. Now that they are on my Truck and have had the time to drive and check them out I must say I'm very impressed. They ride smooth, quiet, great handling on all surfaces and fantastic handling in the curves with this Big Truck.There is just 1 word to describe how much I like my new Michelin LTX A/T2 Tires, " Awesome"

I have had these tires on two pickups and they are not good on ice and snow. I live on a 1500 ft private drive which I keep plowed but I still can't get traction. On my previous truck I switched over to Michelin Defender and traction was much improved. I went to meh Michelin supplier last Friday and he can not get the tire I like any more. The tire he showed me would be useless in snow. I will be switching to another brand. I have run Michelin tires for 50 years.

After reading these reviews it becomes clear some people maintain vehichles better than others while some are hard on them and others are better regarding maintenance etc. I purchased these when my 2500 HD truck tires where worn out at 30K and the dealer would not stand behind them. They indicated new truck warranties do not cover tires period. I also had another truck W/10K miles that had issues with cupping and was under warranty. On that occasion the dealer blamed the tire co. and the tire co. stated it was a dealer problem. At any rate it was not resolved. On both of those occasions the tires were not Michelins. Overall these have been good tires and have been used extensively in severe weather for snowplowing usage. They currently have 47K on them and are used almost every other day without to much traction issues. I believe they could make 60 k However I amlooking to replace at this time and will more than likely have same ones again. If it were spring they would run til fall and have est. 60K miles or more with ease. They never had any wear issues, cupping or other tire problems and were fantastic in the steering areas- never pulling etc. i always rotated at proper intervals and kept allignment in check. The box weight was always M/T and the only noticeable slippage was at painted crosswalks when wet with rain. This could be a power issue. With any tire it has been my experience it is hard to get a honest answer from anyone regarding warranties. Be careful and ask alot of questions prior to your purchase. I have looked for 2 weeks at other tires and come full circle back to this one for this type of usage. A little more money but worth it in the whole scheme.

Had these tires on my 2002 F250 and liked the traction and ride. I was happy to see them on my brand new 2013 F350. I hope Ford got some special deal because I only got 35K out of the tires. I am giving them a 2nd chance to see how non-Ford provided tires work.
