I've had good and bad luck with tires over the years, not discriminate to brand. But Michelin & Me got a good thing going! Purchased the A/T 2s in Nov.'07 for my 2005 Lariat. Driven in all weather from Florida (rain) to N.Dakota(snow) to Calli(mud/snow). I've used the tires for the purpose intended & have had great success. With "NORMAL" driving habits, just turned 80K in Sept. of this yr. These tires were not cheap,but It's been $$$ back in my pocket since 40-50K. My intent was to get as much wear as possible out of them. Rotate every 5K (-ish), and spin balance every 10K. I will definitely re-shoe with the A/T2s. I do see very slight cracking from age, but still have plenty of tread left. I'm good for another 10K, but watch them closely now & wont go any further than that. Pros: -handle & brake well on wet hwy -comfortable ride -they dont throw rocks -roll quiet down the hwy Cons: -no promotion for this tire. I'm thinkin' it's price. Dealers are more motivated to sell quantity over quality. -tires are rated for 80psig...ride's a little rough. Dropped to 68psig. Smoother ride without compromise in performance. That's my review. I bought these tires to replace the factory Michelin LTX M/S2's that came on my Ram 1500 4x4 (Also a great tire). I noticed that the A/T2's had excellent grip in the snow and are plenty capable of some offroading. I've driven the tires aired down in the dunes, rocky roads, snow, mud, etc. Nothing crazy but these tires are plenty capable. Ex. they come stock on the Tundra TRD Off Road. I've done plenty of towing on long road trips. They are light and smooth enough so they won't hurt your mpg. Like most people the majority of the mileage on these tires was back and forth to work on the highway. I rotated the tires every 8k mi and the wear was excellent. After 60k miles there was still about 30% tread on them. I never had any issues. These are the best tires I've ever had. After 5 years and 60k mi I eventually traded them out for BFG AT KO2's because I felt I had gotten my money's worth and I plan to do more aggressive offroading Note: the BFG AT KO2 definitely hurts your MPG by about 10%. For a daily driver and occasional offroader I can't say enough good things about this tire. Go to any tire shop and they'll tell you Michelins are one of the best.

Purchased several years ago as replacement tires for Nissan x-terra. Have over 50K miles and seems like they'll go 60K+. Good traction, especially in SC 1+ inch an hour rains in 4WDHi. Great handling, never slip. Will be looking for another set when these are done!

I live on a gravel road and have had excellent tire wear and durability with these tires. The ones I currently have are the fourth set that I have had for a variety of pickup trucks that I drive daily. I will definitely replace the current set with another set of Michelin tires. They are the only brand that I buy for our vehicles.

Amazing tires... Pricey, but very stable performers in Rain Snow and Sand... As an emergency planner for a municipality where we see all of these weather conditions, I can honestly say that my vehicle is sure footed in all conditions with my Michelin tires.

I have had three sets of these tires(factory size) on my 2011 f250 4x4. The first set lasted 65,000 miles(highway) and still had a fair amount of tread on them when i replaced them. I bought a new set and started towing weekly, a 10,000 lb trailer. The tires did not hold up well at all. Literally every single tread piece on each tire has torn or been ripped off. The tires fall apart when towing heavy. The extra stress of the weight on accelerating and braking is just too much for these tires. Second set lasted for 20,000 miles. Im now on a new set and have a couple thousand miles on them. The reason i bought them again is because I got a very good deal on them. Wont buy again though.

I use these, oversized a bit, on my 06 Honda Element. They are excellent for the street and highway driving I do most, but when I get off the paved road a bit, they really shine. They keep me right where I need to be. Also, I have gotten over 100k on a set. Those results may not be normal, but if you take care them, they will take care of you - for a long time!

I got these tires 6 years ago and they never let me down. I use my truck for heavy loads or hauling things around and have never had anything go wrong. What I love the most is the Nitrogen added to the tires instead of air. I don't have to fill my tires for every heavy load I put in my truck.

Have the Michelin LTX A/T2 of my 2011 F-150 STX and love them. These tires have held the road in 8 inch of water going 60 mph during a storm and have gripped the sand and snow very well in the wilderness of Canada. I WILL be replacing these tires with the same tire again. Also, I have 61,446 on this set currently and am sure I will get at least another 10,000 out of them. I would highly recommend these tires and do.

we use these tires on our truck for on and off the road. My husband is a hunter and needs a good tire for this sport. I have used Michelin for years. I guess you might say it is the tire of choice and I will tell you I know from exsperiance if you rotate these tires every oil change you will get 90,000 miles out of a 60,000 mile tire I have done it twice. I do not know of anything that I can say that is bad about Michlein. I should be a spokes person for them. I do not judge by price I judge by the product. I am 67 years old and have bought Michelin for 37 years. It is the only tire I use.
