Excellent tire.

Best tires I have ever owned. I have a set on two pick-ups. One set on a half-ton for work and the other set on a one ton for personal use. On the work truck, driven mostly on the highway, the set has travelled 60,000 miles. I am expecting another 10,000, hoping for 20,000 more miles. On the personal truck, not used as often but driven mostly for fishing and hunting trips on both paved and dirt/gravel roads, I have amassed a little over 35,000 miles and the tires still look new. It is kept outside with wheel covers over the tires when I remember to put them on. But it appears the sun has not harmed them significantly. In the winter, on snow covered roads, is when the tires really shine. My confidence is high knowing traction will be there when I want it. When the truck gets away from me, I know that the sure footedness will be there to get me straightened out. When it is time to purchase new tires, the decision is easy. It is Michelin LTX A/T2's for me!

Prairie Tough Tire

We have run these tires on our 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 Turbo Diesel Truck for 4 years and have put 52K miles on them in that time, and love them. We regularly drive across 7 miles of Prairie to access the river on our property to hunt and camp and they perform great. They are much quieter on the highway than were the OEM tires and they have no problems when we tow our 14K Horse trailer. Excellent value! We will replace these with the same tires when that time comes.

Greattires

I put a set of four ATX/2's on each of my Jeeps... Liberty CRD and GC CRD and they handle very well. They have worn well with over 25000 miles with with no adverse ware patterns. They are decent in snow, great in rain, and are not noisey. I am a big fan of Michelin but these tires are really good.

Good traction in snow/ice/rain

After a year and a half of mountain, desert, highway and city driving, tires seem to have great traction in varied conditions. Good ride on Interstate highways, snow/ice conditions of local mountain roads and also unpaved, gravel roads. Price was a bit high, but if they last for 80,000 to 90,000 miles, they are worth it. Very satisified with wear, feel of tires on varied road conditions and would not hesitate to buy again. So far, they are wearing evenly and well.

My Michelin tires are ...

My Michelin tires are installed on a Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. Snow Traction off and on road has been very good. We go snowmobiling a lot during the winter and have not had any problems getting around. I have chains I carry in my vehicle just in case but have never had a need to use them. That has not been the case with other tires I have had. Mud traction is not as good, but that would be expected with this type of tire. The more aggressive tread is ok but this is not a mud tire. On dirt roads with wet muddy conditions they still have decent traction and handling. Highway ride is excellent. I notice a little noise at freeway speeds but it is not annoying. The noise level is a little higher on concrete vs asphalt but that is the case with most tires I have run. In the rain and going through shallow standing water on the roads I have not had problems with hydro planning, water seems to disperse quickly. I have approximately 30k miles on these tires and they still have plenty of tread on them. My other SUV I have Michelin LTX on it and they went 85,000 miles and they were just barely to the tread bars. In comparison these (AT2) vs (LTX) Michelin tires I like both of them. The (AT2) are better off road. This is the first I have tried the (AT2) but it appears the mileage might be similar for tire wear. The tire is tough; I have not had any problems off road with tire failure. I would buy these tires again. I have not had balancing problems with these tires or any Michelin tires I own. But other top tire brands that I have had, I have problems with tire balance. They are more expensive at first over other tires but with the longer tire wear I believe it evens out at a cost per mile. I have not had problems with the tires so I have no comment on warranty issues and customer service.

good all around tire

I was looking for a mostly highway tire that would be quiet and get good gas mileage for my Dodge Durango. But, I did want to be able to get through light mud and some snow. This tire works perfect for that. I have had them for almost 20,000 miles and they still look almost like new, very little wear at all. My pickup is getting ready for tires, and on it I only need on road tread, but I will probably use the A/T 2 on it also.

2012 Ford F-350 Diesel /Lariat

2012 Ford F-350 Lariat Diesel - My first set of LT 275/65R20E were Original Equipment. I got 65,000 miles out of them with approx. 10,000 miles remaining. Lot's of highway miles with a good mixture of east coast suburban miles. Rain and snow traction remained very good through the life of the tire. I tow a 24ft. boat and a car trailer throughout the spring - fall. I just purchased my second set! Spend the extra money it's well worth it!

Bought them for F250 ...

Bought them for F250 Super duty, Use it to pull 32 ft. fifth wheel. Was skeptical of tire at first, (First time I ever bought a set of Michelin), am very impressed with them. Truck & trailer weigh together 20,000 lbs, had them for 5 years and 40,000 miles. No problems and they have at least 50% tread left.

Amazing tread life

I bought mine in 2013 for my 1988 toyota pickup. I had 154,000 miles on it then. I now have over 300,000 miles on the truck. I have not changed or rotated the tires yet. They appear to be about half worn now. I am an aggressive driver and these tires are amazing. I just wish they still made them. P235/75 R15. sigh

Lasted over 80,000 on a 7,300lb Truck!

Best truck tire for all around use that I have ever had. They lasted a little over 80,000 miles on my 2007 Chevrolet 2500 Classic Crew Cab 4x4 Diesel that weighs around 7,300 lbs. About half of those miles were pulling a 14,000 trailer and I live in place where the ambient temperature is over 100 degree's 8-9 months of the year. I also never had a Michelin LTX AT2 go flat or fail. The LTX AT2 is a quiet, comfortable ride, and outstanding traction tire. They also always felt stable even when pulling a trailer. A good comparison for the mileage these tires lasted, the tires that came on the truck from the GM factory only lasted 35,000 miles. I sold a friend on Michelin tires by betting him that my truck would reverse out of a driveway that was snow covered and had a moderate incline. He said, better hit the 4x4 button, and I said don't need to, these tires are awesome. My truck backed right out of the driveway and he was sold. These tires were great every mile drove and the only things I had to do for them was maintain the correct tire pressure and rotate them. Even though they are on the more expensive side, I believe they are worth every penny.
