I have been reviewing tires on line and came across the new MICHELIN LTX A/T2. I own a Dakota 2008 SXT original tires, which from day one handle poorly in rain and snow. If it was light rain and I'm at a light and started to go the tires in back fish tail. All the comments on the MICHELIN was about price. Now here is the kicker, Hurricane Sandy 10-29-2012 I was @ the Ford Dealer in Hamilton NJ having them installed. It was raining when I left and windy and not @ 1 time did I fish tail or lose control. The tires did exactly what the tires was made for. I work for the USPS in Hamilton NJ as a Tractor Trailer Operator and that whole weekend I had to be in. I drove my truck to work during the day and going home during the night when Hurricane Sandy was @ full force. I went through floods and the wind pushing up on me, and when I had to break the tires handle the roads. When all and done the storm passed, as I look back, I paid good money for the tires but it was well WORTH it. As long as I own any vehicle I will buy 1 Tire Brand Only. My 2005 F150 has 150,000 miles on it now. I put the last 100,000 miles on it using the Michelin LTX A/T2. I must admit I was a little iffy about the tires because of the price but as the miles and years went on, all my doubts about the tire went away. I am proud of these tires. I love my truck. Just bought and installed a new set of the same tires on the truck today. Excellent tire. Durable. Trustable.

Today I replaced a set of Michelin LTX A/T2 tires that had 95,737 miles on them!!! Honestly, I probably could have gotten 5K to 6K more miles out of my set but I chose not to push it. I am a huge, avid fan of my Michelin LTX tires and I tell all those that will listen to me. I've never seen or experienced a set of tires that performed so beautifully in my life. This will be the brand and type of tires I stay with for the rest of my days!!! Thanks Michelin!

Myself & my wife slid off an ice covered in slow motion . We ended up in the ditch that had over a foot of snow in it . I put the truck in four wheel drive . Rocked it a few times , it came right out of the ditch and we were on our way. I really think these tires saved us a road service call and a night in the ditch !

Put on a set of A/T2's as prep for a trip around the country towing a 35" fifth wheel. We park the fifth wheel and travel to points of interest in the pickup. To date we have put on 13,658 miles in 90 days on paved, gravel and dirt roads. The tires look almost new and my only complaint would be that they pick up a substantial amout of gravel in the tread. It appears to be a small inconvience for a great tire.

I put a set of four ATX/2's on each of my Jeeps... Liberty CRD and GC CRD and they handle very well. They have worn well with over 25000 miles with with no adverse ware patterns. They are decent in snow, great in rain, and are not noisey. I am a big fan of Michelin but these tires are really good.

I recentley purchased these tires and do not have a any relevent information. I have always attempted to purchase the best tires, recommended by the dealer, and purchased Michelins due to friends and dealership recommendations. So far ( 500 miles) they (Michelin's) have proved excellent!

Increased my fuel eff. about 2 mpg. on my 2500 Dodge. the 17/32 of tread shows no measureable amount of wear at 15k miles. These AT2's cost less than two other brands. Perfectly balanced, no bumps or vibrations, holds their air pressure. Brother-in-law purchased two sets of AT2's on my recommedation, his Ford 250 and GMC denali.

I bought these tires (LT/AT) for my Explorer March of 2000 and have put on 51,860 miles on them and the tread is still good for another 10,000 miles, But as they are 10 years old,(I live in Colorado and the environment out here is dry and sunny) They have had a Great life but are drying out and cracking. I kept the pressure and rotated them as was necessary and of course aligned and balanced. I was not overly protective of these tires, I actually was somewhat hard on them on jeep trails and rough roads but they took the beating and came back for more. I would definitely recommend Michelins' for my family and friends as this set has more than performed on my Explorer. The ride was great and they handled quite well on icy/wet roads.

I've owned these tires for 4.5 years now and have 30,000 miles on them so far, tread still measures 10/32 (14 to start). On my 4Runner they have been nothing short of excellent. Just went 4wheeling/hunting in 6 inch snow, up some amazingly rough goat trails and was never in danger of losing traction. WOW! Mind you in some parts I was in 4 low with the rear diff lock engaged. The only concern is that I won't put on enough annual mileage before they start to crack. Very Small cracks have started to show between the tread blocks.
