I have been using these Krill oil capsules for just over one year now. I have high cholesterol and clinically high triglycerides and the lowest I have had was the high 200's after years of statin therapy. I had been taking the Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil then decided to try the Member's Mark omega-3 Krill Oil. Did not work for me -- loose stools, aching joints, and so much gas I couldn't sleep at night. It did work better for my psoriasis but not enough to tolerate the other symptoms. Went back to the Salmon Oil and all is well now.

There may be many good effects of Krill Oil that I just didn't notice and for which I might have given the product at least three stars, but the one bad side effect for me weighed very heavy! I turned orange! Not orange all over, although there are places I can't see that well, but orange in large or small spots (all across my forehead, one large one on my left cheek, one like a shadow along my jaw). Also a general color down my neck, shoulders, arms. It happened gradually. And it wasn't a good orange, either, it was a strange color. At first my family was saying, 'Did you get some sun yesterday?' But it wasn't that good, glow-y sun color. I looked like death warmed over. I'm sure it was the krill oil. For one thing the color exactly picks up the color of the capsules, and for another, I've not been taking it for about a month now, and the orange has gradually faded. I'm really relieved! This may not happen to everybody. But watch for it, and stop if you notice it. I'm back to ordinary fish oil for my dry eyes, and my skin is almost back to its normal pale with a little pink.
