My husband and I LOVE onions. We LOVE onions. Tasty red, sweet onions. They're good in and on everything. We eat lots of onions. That's why we get 6 lbs because it is necessary for most of the dishes we eat like soups, sammiches, salads, casseroles, roasted potato medleys, etc.

These are NOT sweet onions. They have strong fumes when cutting. I do not recommend using these raw. However they have considerable sugar and cook well in a variety of recipes. But knife/prep work will cause LOTS of tearing - more than any onion I’ve ever used!

The quality used to be much better. The last three times I purchased these, about one third of the onions in the bag were rotting. I had to salvage what I could and cut up and freeze in order to get any use. The price of the bag is about the same price as two onions in Publix. I won't purchase this product again and would not recommend.

I use onions regularly n this is my go to when i know m gonna be cooking a lot... It is a big pack with large onions so buying it once is a good investment in the right weather.... In summers they might start rotting a bit if u dont cook them quickly enough.... Overall i love them and buy them very often... They aren't too strong and more often than not they dont make me cry...

Red onions stay along time so I can use them a little at a time. Very good.
