Sweet Red Onions have a slightly better flavor and texture; and in our household we use both Red and Yellow onions for multiple dishes. The Red Onions are naturally sweeter than the yellow ones and are less spicy/stronger in terms of flavor with enriched sweetness; also the water content is comparatively low in Red onions making it more desired in several Indian dishes. We use these onions in multiple dishes such as curries, pulavs, biryanis, pastas, salads and even making Indian Raita (Yogurt Salad) or just sliced, slivered raw paired with cucumber and lime juice.

These Ted onions are absolutely the best! They are Always fresh and last more than a couple weeks once home. That doesnt always happen but once these were found to last a while they are in repeat!! Love these onions and recommend them highly!!

Best place to buy red onions - and we use lots of them

We all know how expensive red onions are in the store these days. This bag is convenient and it's a great value.

Good quality & good value. But they definitely aren’t sweet! Put too much in a salad and you’ll find yourself needing to add more tomatoes or lettuce or salad dressing or something!

Flavor is great on the onions that didnt have soft spots and rotting.
