I used Sam’s pick up service so Sam’s Club employee loaded this block of sliced cheese into my car with other items. Therefore, I didn’t see that the block of cheese was smashed until I got home, otherwise I would have refused to accept the smashed cheese. The block of slice cheese was so smashed instead of using 1 slice of cheese, I had to use 2 slices for each sandwich & hamburger.

ONCE AGAIN MM changed things. From the larger 120 slice to the smaller 160 slice. takes two slices where one of the 120 ct would cover the same. more costly as you have to use two slices to make a good presentation instead of the one. taste is the same. they are not offering other selections.

These cheese singles did not used to be so thin. I do not like the ultra thin slices, you can barely taste the cheese. I have to break this 5 lb. brick of cheese into 6 different portions. I put 1 in the fridge and the other five are put in the freezer. I never used to have a problem with them unfreezing. Now, some of the singles are so thin, after they thaw from being in the freezer they shread into pieces just trying to get one of these ultra thin slices. And, the price has gone up, significantly.

I have to admit, that I am used to Kraft sliced American cheese. So, like anyone else, who is a skeptic, until it is confirmed, I wasn't sure of it's smoothness of it's melting. But, to my great surprise, as I made a couple grilled cheese sandwiches with it, it melted better than the Kraft brand sliced cheese, with a softer taste to it, making me believe, that it would be great for making awesome cheeseburger's, as well. And, as I made the grilled cheese sandwiches, I used 2 slice's of cheese, that fully melted and never dried out, either. This would be great to use, with a few extra piece's of the cheese, in the macaroni & cheese sauce, to make it extra creamy and cheesy, with very little effort!
