Love these sandwiches, especially for my kid to have something with protein for breakfast rather than sugary cereal orbiting yogurt, but there is one flaw. The tasteless, fake, "government" cheese you put on it. I remove the fake cheese and throw it away while I defrost the sandwich in the microwave. Then I replace it with a small piece of Kraft American cheese right at the end of cooking it in the microwave. Sometimes I wait until the sandwich is cooked and fresh out of the microwave to put the cheese on and the heat from the sandwich melts it just right.

I find these to be very good, especially considering they're a frozen sandwich readily available. Now they can't compete anywhere near on the level with a sausage egg and cheese biscuit from Bojangles, but that's an unfair bar to be measured by. I usually cook these from frozen and have learned to wrap in a paper towel upside down and microwave at 30% power for 90 sec to defrost. Then turn it over in the same paper towel and microwave full power for 50sec right side up. If you heat it up upside down, the egg will slide down the sausage and then the melted cheese will stick things off center and you have a crooked mess. My biggest problem with them is after eating one, I really want another. All in all, I think these are very good.

You know, my household goes through 2-3 8pk boxes of the sausage egg and cheese croissant each and every week. At first (years ago) the quality was great, but lately the buns have been some of the worse quality I've seen on any breakfast sandwiches, including the cheaper brand. I pay the extra $$$ for this name brand because the quality was always great, I've been asking myself why lately. Why do that when I can get the same or better quality elsewhere?? I have been buying these for a long time. Kept on buying when the sausage shrunk. Kept buying when the price went up. Bought 2 boxes of 8 a couple days ago and the croissant is barely bigger than a Ritz cracker and just as thin. I will never buy Jimmy Dean again if this was not a production flaw.

If there were zero stars that is what I give..These are not the same breakfast sandwichs that you made before..This new recipe is just disgusting..I have to throw away the entire box..Why would you change what you have been making for years to something so cheap and terrible tasting?

Always loved these but...School is about to start and I always buy these for my teenagers. Over the weekend I stocked up, noticing that the cost was about $.70 MORE from 4 months ago. This morning at work I decided to have one myself and I must say I. AM. DISAPPOINTED. Showed my fellow workers in 100% shock. I mean the DECREASE in size of it WOW! And to think I just bought 4 eight packs that won't last me as long as they use to. Last I will say...the increase in price and the decrease in size will no longer work for my family. Sad.

I used to love these croissant sandwiches, and recently started buying them again after a few years' break, but like some other reviews noted, something has changed in the recipe. The sausage patty seems smaller, and most importantly, the croissant is no longer a croissant. It's a bland bread roll shaped vaguely like a croissant. No flavor, it tastes like stale, frozen hot dog bun. What a shame, I won't be buying these again.

I don't own a microwave as my apartment is too small to connect one a safe distance away from the kitchen sink. When deciding to try these, the box stated that the instructions could be found on the site for oven prep. These steps however are a bit arduous and turns what should be a simple decision into something i must plan in advance and then still prep

I used to love this and they were a regular choice. NO MORE! The new cheese is horrible. It doesn't melt, it dissolves. It make a terrible mess, no matter how you try to cook it. If you leave the sandwich together, it dissolves and the top slides all over. Goo everywhere. If you try to separate the frozen halves to isolate the cheese, is it stuck solidly to the egg. If you try a short defrost so they can be split, the disintegrates and still sticks to the egg. And forget about wrapping in a paper towel unless you like paper flavored cheese. PLEASE go back to the old cheese

I have enjoyed your sausage, egg, and cheese croissant for years and recently have noticed a horrible tasting sausage. It is clear that you changed something and have gone from best to worst. Can't see myself enjoying these any longer which is disappointing as they were so good prior to your decision to change the taste. Bad move on your part. Clearly, I am not alone!
