These everyday-use skillets are really great. When new they provide even heat and cook well. They are a dream to clean. I've used this brand for years and have re-bought them many times. They won't last a life-time, but they're solid for at least a few years ... so a tremendous value at the price.

I'm a cook by trade and I go through a good set of cookware at home every 2-3 years. My husband bought be a super expensive brand 2 years ago with a "lifetime warranty". My 12" saute pan bulged recently and wouldn't sit flat on the burner, so when I saw this Sam's pan for under $25, I just went for it. I figured the worst that could happen is I was out $22. I didn't have high expectations to say the least, but I was pleasantly surprised! This pan is heavy, cooks evenly, washes easily, and is nonstick. I've been using it almost daily for a month and I love it! Even if it doesn't last 6 months, I'd happily buy a new one for under $25 every 6 months than spend hundreds on a brand name that didn't last. The next time I go to Sam's I'll be buying the 8"!

These pans got good reviews from the consumer magazine and online, but ours were a bust. We got a full set of these six months ago and they have failed. First, the bottoms bulge and do not stay flat making for uneven cooking. Second, the black material covering the outside including the bottom rubs off in a black mess. Third, the non-stick coating has been an early casualty. Fourth, even the rubber handle won't stay on, a hazard when moving a hot pan. I wonder if there is a warranty? This poor quality is unlike Sam's usually-fine materials.

Nice size non-stick pan. It has a nice weight to it. Disappointed the edge in a couple of places was missing the finish and so was the 14" one.
