Excellent Dryer at a Reasonable Price!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this about a month ago, it's been excellent from day one. It dries in a reasonable amount of time for an Energy Star Certified machine, others take far longer. Also, the options that don't offer energy savings are present and work very well for bedding, thick fabrics (old-school jeans), and other items that need a higher heat to dry. The tone it gives off is loud enough to be heard from my basement by default, but can be altered to a lower volume if it is too loud for you. Overall I am extremely happy with this purchase, it was an excellent price for an excellent dryer.

Flowsense sensor is horrible

I am enjoying my new dryer! It is very quiet and I love the little tune it plays when it is finished - instead of the loud buzz sound. I am still learning how to use all the settings but I like how I can adjust the heat and time settings along with the regular settings.

I had read that LG products were rated the highest, so that was my target. This model was on sale at a local store, with a promised delivery of 2 days. I found that it was easy to operate, with little reading of a manual. This last point is a pet peeve of mine, in that I detest new products that are not intuitive to operate.

Not a good product

If your DLE6100W dryer isn’t connecting to the Smart App, that’s expected since it’s not designed for app compatibility. For clothes not drying fully in Energy Saver mode, try using a different setting, extend the drying time, or don’t overload it. If the Sensor Dry function is acting up, clean the moisture sensors, check your clothes aren't too wet or dry, and avoid over packing the dryer.
