I bought this for my 8 year old daughter, I thought the kids size bento boxes looked too small so I went with the modern, and we both love it. You can fit adult portions or multiple things, the box is beautiful and sleek, my daughter gets many compliments. Bentgo Customer service is also top notch. Very happy with my purchase and highly recommend.

Great box; I was hoping that its thick sides would provide some insulation, but the top and bottom are thin, so it doesn't stay cold on its own very well. It would be perfect if it had some insulation, or a matching insulated bag that could accommodate a cold pack.

I bought this for my kindergartener. It's much better than the kids lunch box he had previously (not from this company). Nice and roomy, doesn't leak, pretty light weight and easy for him to open. I also love that you can remove a "wall" for bigger items. Definitely recommend!

After owning other bentgos, this one leaves a little to be desired. It feels flimsier, and the individual sections don't seem to seal off as well when it's closed. My kids have complained of yogurt and fruit juice soaking into their sandwiches everything those things are packed together. I'm glad we still have our previous bentgos to use , as these modern ones are our last choice.

The box itself does well at holding food. Zero complaints, it stands up to the hype there. The problem is that the exterior was scratching by day 2. Without the rubber bumpers on the exterior, everything scratches it. I like the larger capacity for my 12 yo but it looks terrible with all the scratches. The scratches started in the lunch box from the ice pack and his brothers lunch box sitting under it. The other boxes (3 original child boxes and one Pop) don’t have an issue with the finish scratching and they are used by much younger and less responsible children.

Very beautiful stylish, high quality, durable Modern lunch boxes! Can hold enough food for a snack, my children enjoy their food during lunch. There was a problem with the lid, which I reported to Bentgo, and they solved my problem very quickly! Great company!I wish Bentgo good luck, prosperity and more grateful customers!

I’ve owned all of bentgos products, but this one is not up to par!! I put chicken salad in one compartment, and it somehow mad it to EVERY other compartment!! On top of fruit, meat, and chocolate treat!! Maybe this one is just faulty, but I was very upset!! I do like the looks of it, but I would rather carry a child one that I know will keep everything secure!!

The posts that act as hinges attaching the lid to the main body of the lunchbox are the same brittle plastic and too small for the weight of the whole thing, which is surprisingly substantial. Maybe not an issue for most adult users, but my son managed to break the lid off on the second use, without even knowing he'd done it, or how. (He thinks it broke while latched when a friend dropped his backpack.) Going back to lighter-weight plastic options: not insulated, or at all watertight, but cheaper and more durable.

Bought this to try as a replacement for the kid Bentgo because the kid version gets mold around the plastic seal inside. We wash and dry daily but have had this problem with a number of the Bentgo boxes. We love the compartment sizes and that they do not leak into each other. Like the smooth look.

The thought is there, but the latch is disappointing. The gold piece comes off straight out of the box and my older kids can’t ever get it to go back in. What’s the point of a bento lunch box if it doesn’t stay latched. I expected something better. I love the design, color, modern look, the gold latch is pretty. But the design of the latch needs work.
