[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to try out this mattress. It is very heavy and feels luxurious to the touch. I like how the designer pays attention to small details like the handle, the stitching. It feels like cloud to sleep on. Not too hot, not too cold, just the right temperature. It has been pampering me to sleep for nearly a month. My back loves it. Highly recommended.

After our previous Beautyrest mattress failed, we got the black in series 3, firm. My husband and I bought it about 3-4 months ago. Long story short, it failed. There are two dents in the bed from us. Had the inspector come today and confirm the mattress had failed. It also is advertised as "firm", but is a "medium". Even as a medium, there should not be two big dents in the bed now. Beautyrest quality has drastically declined, and the beds are mostly stuffed with soft garbage, it seems. We are done with this brand. This is sad, because it once was a coveted mattress brand. Now they just produce trash that fails. We will be going to a private and local mattress company. Will be getting a simple, no frills mattress. Zero padding and definitely no pillow top. A firm, old-fashioned mattress is the best. I thought this bed would be it, but I should have known it had too much padding. I would definitely consider an old Beautyrest model, if still sold as new. Note: we are average weight people, and the bed looks like two cows slept in it. He is 6+ft/200, I am 5'4/125.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not joking when I say this is the MOST comfortable mattress I have ever slept on…ever. I’m a side sleeper mostly, but I can get comfortable in any sleeping position on this Beautyrest Black. The back pain I’ve been experiencing the last few years upon waking up every morning, gone. My husband who sleeps warm, has been sleeping much cooler since we made the switch. Be warned if you ever need to move it, the mattress is a beast, weighing in around 180lbs. Speaking of size, this mattress is very high, almost 17”. My sheets are deep pocket and say they fit up to 16”. Thankfully they fit the mattress and haven’t worked their way off yet. But beware, you may need new linens.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this mattress for review. This Beautyrest Plush Pillowtop has been a wonderful comfortable mattress. It's really like laying in a bed of clouds. I haven't slept so well in years. Would highly recommend this mattress for someone looking for a really soft comfortable bed. I had slept on a firm mattress for most of my life because of my back but finally got the right fit for me.

Ordered the Plush Pillow Top Queen size. It's very plush, comfortable, and supportive. I don't wake up with hip pain or lower back pain anymore. Price is kinda insane, though -- luckily, it was $600 off when I bought it, plus a $400 Sam's gift card with purchase. It also runs a little hot, although it's advertised as being cool, hence the 4 stars instead of 5.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free for testing purposes and immediately noticed the mattress was not as wide as my previous queen! It was stunning to look at but quickly was covered with a mattress protector and sheets, these will have to be purchased new as well as traditional mattress protectors and sheets will NOT fit! I anticipated this potentially happening by be prepared! The comfort level is spot on except my boyfriend is laying on top of me with no room to spare where before with my old queen (a beauty sleep knock off) I had plenty of room!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bed is SO comfortable!! It replaced an old tempurpedic mattress and I haven't slept this well in years! It isn't too plushy and soft which is perfect for me, and it doesn't make me sweaty at night. I was surprised at the height of the pillow top and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to test such an amazing product!! Thanks Influenster and Beautyrest, I'll be looking at this brand for my next bed too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Beautyrest Black Series 3 Medium Pillowtop mattress has changed my life like nothing I've ever owned! Before I started sleeping on this bed, I struggled to get up in the morning, but now being in bed feels like an indulgence and I wake up so refreshed. I didn't realize until I made the switch how a fantastic bed can make me feel 10 years younger after just a short time. * With the pocketed coil, triple steel wired design and layers upon layers of patented foam technologies, my husband and I are able to sleep soundly next to each other with no bouncing, squeaking or sinking. I no longer wake up if my husband does. In fact, I don't even think either of us feel each other move at all during our sleep anymore. * I love that the mattress provides so much support by conforming to my body, but only as much as it needs to. It's the greatest combination of firm and soft because it doesn't sink at all, but the layered foam design makes it incredibly comfortable the moment I lie down. The materials used in each component of this mattress are of the highest quality and you can definitely feel it. Made with cashmere, alpaca and silk in just one layer alone says it all! * One of the best features of Beautyrest Black is the cooling technology. BlackICE technology uses plant-based materials to dissipate body heat along with the AirCool memory foam and SurfaceCoolTM Plus Fiber to allow airflow and the least possible heat absorption across every piece of the mattress. I cannot express how huge of a difference this makes when sharing a bed with someone in warm climate. * These are only some of the amazing, unique and much appreciated technologies used to make this phenomenal mattress. If I could go back in time and purchase a Beautyrest Black mattress when I was younger, I feel like it may have made an impact on how I have aged. I certainly feel younger already and I cannot recommend this mattress enough. I've already convinced my elderly parents to look into it. If everyone on earth slept on a Beautyrest, the world would be a happier place!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. Let’s start with the most important thing: comfort. This mattress is very very comfortable when you’re first laying on it. It has a pretty thick pillow top for extra comfort. However, I do find myself sinking into the mattress quite a bit and once I am sunk in far enough, I begin to feel uncomfortable and like the bed is way too hard/firm. This mattress is supposed to be “medium” firmness and I agree that it probably would be once it was broken in and used for a couple of years. However, it is too firm for me and my boyfriend. We ended up putting an additional memory foam topper on it and now it seems to be pretty perfect for comfort! The biggest downfall of this mattress is how HEAVY it is. This is the heaviest mattress I’ve ever lifted. It was really tough to get in onto the bed frame even with my boyfriends help. I know mattresses get heavier with time as well since they collect dead skin cells and whatever else. This worries me for how heavy this mattress will be in a few years! I move a lot so it could potentially be an issue for that. However, the weight of this mattress proves to me how high quality and nice it is. I love that this mattress is black! Great for hiding dirt/moisture spots that inevitably happen over time. However, could be deceiving in the future if something does soak through the mattress and I can’t figure out where the stain is or if the stain has been removed or not. I suppose I will cross that bridge when I get there. The only other downfall of this mattress is that it’s very thick and high up. Luckily this isn’t an issue for me and my boyfriend because we are young and healthy. This would be an incredibly hard mattress to use if you had any sort of physical limitation or are of old age/lack height. When using this mattress with nothing on it but a fitted sheet, we did feel like it kept us cool and had great temperature control. Now that we have all of our other sheets and blankets and pads on the bed, that temperature control isn’t as good as it used to be. This mattress is incredibly expensive to purchase. I do think it’s worth the price if you are okay with the disadvantages mentioned above. It is incredibly durable, well-made, and supportive. I have a feeling I’ll have this mattress for years and years and years to come and it won’t do me wrong. Overall, I would recommend this mattress.
