Medium pillow top is more firm than plush. great for sleeping on stomach or back but not so great for side sleeping. recently had shoulder surgery so i have been sleeping on my opposite side but it makes my hip ache after a short period of time on that side. going to keep it because once shoulder is healed, will probably revert to sleeping on my stomach again.

From a functionality perspective, it is very comfortable as a pillow top medium. I don't feel like I'm sinking but it doesn't feel stiff either. My back feels great after a full night's sleep! I also don't feel as hot as I did with my old mattress. The material feels high quality.

Its comfort level is on par with the mattresses that luxury hotels use. Yes I’m a mattress fanatic. I highly highly recommend. It’s a medium plush top which means it’s a medium firmness underneath the very squishy memory foam pillow top on the top. The mattress is very tall at 16ish inches and very heavy but a great build! Doesn’t sleep too hot and both my partner and I think were sleeping better than ever. I will absolutely repurchase another of this style mattress when it’s time for a replacement!

It's hard to decide when you're trying g a bed out in the store which one is tge best. They all start to feel the same. This bed is comfortable, but really it's all about what the adjustable base does. I'm in love with the zero gravity to relieve lower back pain.

I have scoliosis, and my husband has shoulder issues from a motorcycle accident as a kid, so it's important we have a supportive mattress. But let me tell you, I had no idea a mattress could be THIS supportive. I don't know if it's the Surface Touch Gel Memory Foam, the Self Response Latex, or the 2K Nano Coils, but when you lay down you can immediately feel this mattress conform to envelop every part of your body like a cloud. There are no uncomfortable pressure points, I don't wake up with numb spots anymore, and so sleep so soundly and wake up without pain! One of my other favorite aspects is the motion separation! Hubby is a flopper, and it use to wake me up constantly, but now he can flip flop to his heart (or shoulders) content, and I barely even feel it! I also appreciate the attention that was taken to control temperature with the Sleep Climate Technology and Micro Diamond memory foam! As a gal who is right about the age where hot flashes may soon become a concern, this is a super important feature to me! It's a little taller than I was expecting, and since our bed is already kind of high, I will probably grab a low profile foundation at some point to lower it to a perfect height. But it's still manageable as is, and my sheets still fit! I really couldn't be happier with it though! I tend to sleep on my sides, or back, and it's perfect for either position! I always feel perfectly supported, and even after a couple of weeks of sleeping on it, I still drift off to sleep each night thinking about how amazing it feels!

Overall, the mattress is designed with premium materials that are both durable and comfortable. The downside is the sizing as it feels much smaller than anticipated. For example, my husband and I have owned a queen bed for years which was plenty of space for us. However, the mattress, listed as a Queen size, is noticeably smaller in width than what I'm used to. It feels more along the sizing of a twin XL, so I would recommend sizing up.

The old memory foam mattress from Serta was aged out---so I decided to try 2 diff latex bed-in-box mattresses, but they just were not comfortable enough for me & I couldn't move them (I'm 57 & not a powerlifter). Found the Black Series 3 Plush Pillowtop in store, and won't ever look back.
