Annie's was bought by General Mills and recently changed their ingredients to include corn starch and more preservatives. It doesn't cook or taste the same. Ingredients listed here on sms club are incorrect.

We've bought it so many times and it is a light creamy color almost white but a little bit off-white not this time we opened it and it looks like a giant glob of chalk, orange brown, chalk, almost golden in color, but not a good gold. This was absolutely offputting, but I was not about to waste food so finished making it and took a bite no no no so disgusting it tastes chalky too. I don't know what they did besides get rid of milk and butter and replace it with other stuff but it's so horrifically bad.
