Absolutely love the cooling gel top. It's summer, so the little bit of cooling is a blessing. In the winter I'll be able to zip off the top (cooling gel top) and sleep warmer, if needed. We also purchased the Ease 2.0 base which has zero gravity....Hands down the best nights sleep I've had in years!!! Yes, Tempur-Pedic is slightly more money than some but WELL worth the investment. This is the 2nd Tempur-Pedic we have owned in 25+ years and will not sleep on anything else!! Thanks Tempur-Pedic...We LOVE your products

I have a really bad back and have spent lots of money trying to find products that will help me sleep comfortably. I purchased the mattress about a month ago and I sleep through the night and wake up pain free. This mattress has been a life saver for me. Definitely worth the price!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im so grateful for the opportunity to review the Tempur-ProAdapt, Medium, queen size mattress. Well let me start on why my husband and i are now experts on mattresses. My husband is a 250lb powerlifter and we have recently in 4 years gone through 2 mattresses. 3 mattresses in 7 years if you want to get technical. On his side of the bed where he initially sits down our past mattresses would indent after only a year or so. Also on mattresses we bought prior and spent thousands my husband always said his lower back would hurt in the morning and it would sag under his weight. Not to mention he would always say he couldnt ever get a mattress that was comfortable for his size. This Tempur-ProAdapt, Medium, Queen is absolutely worth every dollar. This is the 1st time in almost a decade where he actually sleeps soundly through the night. When he plops down on this mattress it doesn't shake my side of the bed causing me to spill my coffee. This mattress is magically good with its "proAdapt" technology, we both could feel the quality on the very 1st night. It's supportive for him and comfy for me and I'm 120lbs. So for us to find a mattress that works for us is simply amazing. We wish we knew about poAdapt mattresses sooner. We couldn't be happier!

So far my initial thoughts on this mattress is it's just OK nothing special. Maybe my expectations were set to high based on the price and commercials? I'm assuming I'm still getting use to it and hopefully I will grow to love it like a lot of reviewers have. I can attest to the quality though no issues at all with that!

Does not relieve pressure points or give you a good sleep experience. I started complaining to Living Spaces where we bought it after a couple of months and was told it takes awhile to adapt and give it 3 months, then 6 months then sorry you'll have to take it up with Temperpedic Warranty Department. They told me how sorry to hear of my bad experience and to take a bunch of pictures and send in but if mattress didn't have 3/4 inch depression they would not replace it. Wear is uneven not that severe of depression but uneven wear all over mattress which leads me to believe support is not good. When we bought mattress I was lead to believe body heat made foam conform to body and then spring back. This is after less than 2 years and me being 165 pounds and my husband 195 pounds! We went and bought a Temperpedic pillow topper hoping that might help and it just shows big depression on both sides where we sleep. We took it off to get pictures of mattress and found the foam on the topper is cracked in several spots. No wonder we're not getting good support. I wonder if the inside of mattress shows the same deterioration! I wake up after a couple of hours with hip hurting and my shoulder had become extremely painful. I went to Orthopedic doctor and X-ray shows tendinitis in rotator cuff likely causing pain. Not doing any sports, lifting or consistent motion to cause this. My back pain is worse also. I wouldn't call that a real great nights sleep!!! .

So far I am happy with our purchase. This mattress forms around your body and I sleep more on my back that ever before. I'm usually a side sleeper, but for some reason, I find myself more on my back. Really like the comfort and I'm hoping it lasts a very long time. Very pricey though.

We are very happy with out TEMPUR-ProAdapt Medium Hybrid mattress. We love the way it conforms to our body shapes and the fact that it accommodates our various sleeping positions (i.e. stomach, back, side). We have found that we sleep better and longer. Also, we love the fact that we can raise the head for watching tv, then lower it to sleep.

We have had our ProAdapt for about 3 weeks now and are still getting used to it - it is a huge departure from a conventional mattress and box spring. We both like the support we are getting, but find it a bit difficult to roll over and we find it "warm" (although that could be the change season too). I think with a bit more time we would probably give it 5-stars.

We love this mattress. We've slept on it for several months now and love it more and more every day. We did try the medium firmness mattress and did not like it at all, but the soft is perfect for us. We've owned Sleep Number beds, exclusively for 20+ years, but decided to try something different and are so glad we did. Would highly recommend this mattress to everyone. We also purchased your adjustable base, which is a first for us, that we would also recommend. Thanks for the great products!

The Tempur-Pedic brand comes with so many reviews and experiences that I was unsure as to the value and as to which version I should purchase. After months of trying out the Pro- adapt line, I settled on the soft. Night one felt a bit too firm. I read about walking on the mattress to break it in. I did that. Night two was great, and I can tell it will only get better. The bed is not too hot. It's not too hard to move on. It's supportive and very comfortable. I'm glad I got a Tempur-Pedic. And I'm glad I got the soft. The only complaint I have is that the mattress is not heavy enough to keep my top sheet from pulling out at the base; but I'll figure that out. Save yourself some time. Buy the soft Pro - adapt.
