The effect was immediate, no more tossing and turning nights. It took me a few nights to realize that I was sleeping so soundly that I wasn't awake tossing and turning, looking at the clock or getting up to go to my recliner. My aches and pains are gone or lessened. The mattress does not move when my husband does. The mattress is what it is hyped to be, a wonder.

Is taking me a while to "break in" the mattress. I feel sad because after almost three months my mattress still doesn't feel soft and confortable. On the other hand, I was sick on bed for a week, and I never experienced back pain as I have before with other mattresses after being on bed for that long. Me está costando acostumbrarme al colchón. Nice mattress, and I love the removable cover. I do not recommend the firm mattress if you turn in your sleep or sleep on your side often. I wake with a stiff spine and sore shoulder and hip joints if I cannot remain on my back all night. It's decently comfortable although it is not what I expected.

I have been sleeping on a firm mattress my entire 60+ years, as that was told me to be "good for my back". But for the past year my hips and shoulders were aching all day, and I woke multiple times through the night. My family referred me to the Tempurpedic, and suggested a soft mattress. After just 1 night's sleep, I have no aches and pains. I now sleep through the night, every night, and wake up feeling refreshed and energetic.

My wife and I both toss and turn significantly less because the memory foam just cradles. My low back, and hip pain from the purple mattress has disappeared, and my shoulders also don't hurt. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our first Tempur-pedic lasted nearly 18 years. The Pro Adapt Firm is comfortably cool and is a guaranteed restful sleep. We have a total of four in the house and they are the only mattresses we will sleep on.

This mattress is trouble, everytime you lay on it you will wind up staying in it and not want to get up meaning you will be late for work or just not even want to go to work it is that comfortable. At first you think its firm but it slowly adapts to your shape not in a sinking way at all though like a very comfortable way. The cool technology on the thin layer at the top also is a bonus, we never feel hot. I am very happy with the results. It has helped my back tremendously. Worth the money.

I am a younger, fit guy with no back or health problems. Had an older model Tempurpedic for over a decade. Quality was great, but it was always too soft for my liking. I went to the Tempurpedic flagship store and asked for the firmest mattress on offer. I was directed to the ProAdapt Firm, and ProAdapt Luxe Firm. The former is definitely more firm than the latter. I was told that the ProAdapt Firm that I purchased would need a period of being broken in before it would feel like the floor model that I sampled. The first couple of weeks after delivery, I was certain that I had made a mistake, as the mattress was just too firm, even for someone that likes a firm bed. However, after about 4-6 weeks of sleeping on it, it has broken in considerably and become the perfect mattress. 10/10. If you like a firm mattress, this is the one. Do not even consider returning if it feels too firm at first. Give it a month or so!
