This is our second mattress, so anyone can see we are not buying any other brand. Our grandkids love to take naps on our mattress. Just try the Tempus-pedic, all you aches and pains will go away. My husband has had back surgery, we both have arthritis issues. My advice is pay the extra money and get a product which you will enjoy for many. many years.

So far my initial thoughts on this mattress is it's just OK nothing special. Maybe my expectations were set to high based on the price and commercials? I'm assuming I'm still getting use to it and hopefully I will grow to love it like a lot of reviewers have. I can attest to the quality though no issues at all with that!

For the price I paid for this mattress I expected it to be much more comfortable. I have been using this mattress for about four months. I sleep on my back and I get up each morning with a back ache. I really did not expect this. I would not recommend this product. If I had to do it over again I would purchase a less expensive mattress and buy a comfortable mattress topper to go over it.

So my husband and I had an original Tempurpedic. We moved twice with it.It was about 20 years old.The original warranty said it was to last 20-25 years.We started to have back pain but no way blamed the matress.It was supposed to last 25 years.Well after going for therapy we finally caved called and told them we wanted the same exact matress we bought 20 years ago.That brought us to the Pro Adapt Firm.The FIRST night my hip and back pain was relieved.If I did not experience it myself I wouldve never ever believed it.We also got the top of the line pillows which I equally LOVE.Yes we still have the aches and pains of getting older but no longer is it the matress.We simply needed a NEW Matress.We love our Temperpedic and am so glad we decided to buy a new one.Thanks Temperpedic.The white glove delivery was also top notch.It was a wonderful buying experience all the way around and we bought it ONLINE direct from Tempurpedic!!!

This is our second temper-pedic mattress. The first mattress we purchased several years ago is now used in our guest bedroom. For some unknown reason, we (wife and I) convinced our self to replace the master bed mattress with a competitors product (air mattress). We had purchased extra bed sheets and even though we never open the package the dealer would not give a reimbursement after 90 days. This was 3-years ago. Big mistake! We had enough sleepless nights and decided to revisit a temper-pedic dealer. Don't we swayed so take my advise and stick with what you know and trust. We were happy with the tempur pedic mattress we purchased twenty years ago. We wanted a quality product again; we are enjoying the comfort and supported provided by our new tempur pedic. Unfortunately, the removable cover is slippery and causes our mattress pad to slide and bunch up during the night.

This is my second Tempurpedic mattress. The first was the old DeluxeBed model, a medium firm mattress that was about a 6.0 on the firmness scale. It took a while to soften up and the unused side was still as hard as a rock after 12 years but it was great for alleviating lower back pain. My arthritis in the hip has worsened with time and age so I selected the Pro Adapt Medium Hybrid with a 4.5 rating as a replacement mattress for more pressure relief. I was told it is their most popular model, especially among women, and the three year old floor model was not overly soft. My new mattress took no time to break in but after three weeks of use, it seems a little mushy. I weigh about 200 pounds and am a side sleeper. I will try it for a couple more months but am concerned that the Medium Hybrid might be too soft for me.

We've had our TempurPedic for three weeks now and every night is great. No more tossing and turning all night, and no more waking up stiff and sore. Also no more waking up in the night all hot and sweaty. Would recommend this bed to anyone who is looking for a comfortable night's sleep.

I love the bed. I am still figuring out the lumbar, raising head and foot of mattress but I am sleeping with much less coughing. I love the mattress. Would like some information about how/why the lumbar option is good to use in the Ergo base. The mattress is awesome by itself. My friend who wen shopping with me is planning to buy her own tempur-proAdapt medium Hybrid.
