Hello - Thanks for your feedback. It is normal for the top and sides of the unit to be warm or hot to the touch during normal operation. Make sure that you have an inch of air space around the case to allow good airflow. If food is frozen in the fresh food section in a full size or compact refrigerator: The temperature is set too low. Set a slightly warmer temperature and allow 24 hours to adjust. Verify that nothing is blocking the vents where the cold air is coming out or being sucked in. Check that nothing is blocking air circulation and remove any item that is close to the air vents.
