The refrigerator has no noise and cools very effectively. Please ensure that you let it sit for six hours after receiving it, and then let it cool for a few hours before placing items inside.

SMALL BUT MIGHTY

Desert Heat, Big Appetites & Chaos—No Sweat!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let’s get one thing straight: the Haier HA10TG21SB may be compact, but it absolutely refuses to be underestimated. It fits perfectly in our apartment without hogging space, yet somehow manages to keep three grown adults fed and happy—including my 6'5" spouse with an appetite that does not respect portion sizes, plus an adult male roommate. This fridge keeps up like it’s personal. Inside, it’s surprisingly well thought out. Full-width spill-proof glass shelves, clear gallon and liter door bins, and a humidity crisper that actually earns its name make organization easy. Bright LED lighting ensures nothing gets lost in the back, and the smooth 90° reversible door with pocket handles means you can place it anywhere without drama. The freezer pulls its weight too, with a full-width glass shelf and clear door bins. Cooling is rock solid, even when it’s 105°F outside and I’m sweating just walking to it. Food stays cold, produce stays fresh, and the freezer doesn’t turn everything into ice blocks. Temperatures remain steady no matter how often the doors are opened, which is a huge win in desert summers. For a fridge that runs on efficient R600a refrigerant and still delivers this much space and function, it proves “small” doesn’t mean basic. The Haier HA10TG21SB is smart, sturdy, and way more capable than it looks.

Good price good size.

Good price. Just the right size for where I put it. Quiet when running. Cools and freezes just fine on medium settings. It does make a little short gurgle sound about every 20 seconds or so. Have no idea why. Good fridge overall.

Great Little Fridge!

We purchased this refrigerator for our garage. The freezer section is the perfect size and capacity for what we need. The depth, width, and height of the entire refrigerator fit perfectly in our space. Shelving is quality. The refrigerator and freezer both keep items at the proper cooling temperature with reasonable energy consumption.

Fridge is good, delivery is sadly lacking

Fridge is fine, delivery sucked, should of bought from HD. The delivery guy literally threw it threw it in the door, and stomped out. No set up, no taking the old one, not thank you no kiss my butt. Safely say I would never buy another appliance from Sams club

Good design but leaks water

Nice design and features but it leaks water both inside on the shelves, to the bottom and outside. This creates a moisture problem. Although we like the size and set up, we aren’t going to keep it. It’s the only refrigerator we’ve ever owned that leaks. For the price, we would not expect this.

It's a fridges!

[Employee of haier] The Haier 9.8 Cu. Ft. Top Freezer Refrigerator is a fairly standard, compact refrigerator that does what you'd expect from an appliance in a smaller apartment or studio. The size is appropriate for a single person or limited kitchen space, and the top-freezer layout is straightforward and familiar. Cooling performance has been consistent so far. Food stays cold, the freezer keeps items frozen, and the temperature controls seem to function normally. Storage is adequate for a unit this size, with adjustable shelves and door compartments that make it reasonably easy to organize basic groceries. It's not particularly spacious, but that's typical for a refrigerator under 10 cubic feet. Noise levels are about what you'd expect—occasionally noticeable when the compressor cycles on, but nothing unusual for a compact fridge. The stainless finish looks decent and fits a modern apartment aesthetic, though it's still very much a basic appliance rather than anything premium. Overall, it performs its primary function without any surprises. It's a refrigerator that keeps food cold and frozen as designed. Since it came with the apartment, it's not something I would have necessarily sought out on my own, but it works adequately for everyday use and fits the needs of a small living space.

Lemon

Have lost a freezer full of food because the freezer was not cold. First repair only improved the issue slightly. Still waiting for repair to be done.

Buyer Beware

Buyer beware. This is NOT a good refrigerator for an unheated garage as it will not work in cold temperatures. This is good for beverages only. Beware of top shelf freezing, burst soda cans and ruined fresh vegetables. This may be one of the worse purchases I ever made.

We’d like to provide some clarification regarding the proper operation of this unit. This model is designed to operate in environments with temperatures between 55°F and 80°F. Using the unit outside of this range can lead to improper performance and increased energy consumption. If the ambient temperature drops below approximately 25°F, the thermostat will keep the unit off, as it does not detect the need to activate the compressor. While the freezer section may remain cold due to the surrounding environment, the circulation fans will not run, which means the refrigerator section will not receive proper cooling.

Non stop draining

I have had this fridge for just about 3 years and it recently started having a problem. It drains inside even after defrosting it and making sure the freezer and its pipes are clear. Very frustrating for me because I then have to place a large container inside to catch the water otherwise it will flood. This is inconvenient because that takes up valuable space that I desperately need. I probable won't keep it much longer honestly.

We'd like to assist you with your refrigerator. An interior drain line (usually running behind the crisper drawers) can become blocked and cause a leak inside the refrigerator itself. Hot water or a mini plumber's snake can remedy this. One of our team members will contact you via email shortly to gather more details. Kindly reply at your earliest convenience.
