I'm very happy with my purchase! The CO sensor works perfectly because it would not start during testing until moved to an open area. This generator will not only power my home, but it's cost-effective, it looks nice, and it is easy for me to handle as a 50+ female.

I'm 51 and this is my first generator that I ever purchased. After a lot of online research I decided to go with the Westinghouse. Not too big and not too small. Just enough for my wife and I. After receiving it and getting it assembled, I can 100% attest to its build quality and attention to detail. I was in the fence between this and a Duramax. So happy I chose the Westinghouse!

As a Panhandle resident, hurricanes are not if, but when. I needed a solution that did not break the bank while having the ability to handle days without power. Bought this unit and it arrived quickly from an orange home improvement store. Assembly was doable by myself, but I did use a floor jack to make life easier adding the legs and wheels. Two days after, my electrician appointment arrived to install a Generac 100A manual transfer switch with a 50A inlet and a 25ft 50A cord. I live in a 2400 sq ft house with additional toys. 3 fridges, pool, icemakers, electric hot water heater, and a 4 ton 16 seer heat pump. I am in the break-in 5 hour window, and I turned off nothing from the breaker, and the generator never even loaded down. Turned on the AC for a few minutes, not even a burp. I am using a grill propane tank for the break-in but will go to gasoline in the event of a longer outage. Wanted to keep the carbs fresh as long as I could til really needed. If you are looking for a whole house solution similar to the specs I mentioned, you won't be disappointed with this purchase. It's a well functioning unit with all the bells and whistles you could ask for in a portable generator.

Just bought it -started it up. Have not used it yet. Have been reading reviews about people leaving a review and not receiving the promotional free cover for leaving a review. I hope this is not true. I will be leaving another review if I don't receive mine.
