I'm very impressed with Westinghouse the quality of this generator. After returning generator from a different manufacture due to mechanical issues, I decided to buy a Westinghouse based of their review ratings and comments. I'm so glad I did! This generator is of better quality than the other one that I had, has more useful features, more power, and was $100 cheaper! If you're in the market for a generator, you should seriously give Westinghouse a chance; I promise you will not be disappointed!

I just purchased this generator after Hurricane Beryl to prepare for the next power outage. Haven’t had a chance to use it but I did put it together and it was easy enough and much easier to move around once the wheels are in place. The item is very heavy/sturdy.

Picked up this second larger generator to power house. I already have the Westinghouse 7500 which has been great thru hurricane power outages. Love the keyless start and ease of use. Looking forward to being able to rely on this one to keep family comfortable thru next hurricane.

First, I live in coastal North Carolina.  The longest without power was 3 week (Florence) and after my generator died providing power after Dorian it was time to look for a replacement.  If your reading this review, you already looked at all the features, so I'm only going to focus on what I thought were minor flaws with the product. Oil.  The generator comes with 1.16 qts of oil.  When you pour the oil into the tank, it does not read on the dipstick.  So....Is the dipstick too short?  Is there not enough oil in the tank?  IDK...I'll play it safe and fill the oil to where it reads on the dipstick without screwing it in. Battery cable placement.  I had to reroute the negative cable because it rubs the wheel. The cables stick out beyond the frame..  Noise level.  The big one everybody wants to know. I think my 21 hp JD lawn tractor is a bit louder than this. So, if it came with the right amount of oil or right size dip stick, I would have given 5 stars.

I bought this generator to be ready for the hurricane season. I tested it and it runs very nice providing all the power I need. It is easy to handle and the instructions are clear to set it up. It covered 100 percent my expectations. I recommend strong recommend this product.

This tri-fuel generator has everything you could think of for convenience in operating a generator. Trickle battery charging so you don’t have to worry about dead batteries, 3 different fuel choices, auto choke, remote and push button start etc. make this product stand out. It is slightly quieter than older models too! Excellent user manual makes this thing a breeze to operate and get started with. Highly recommend!

I worked in the electrical industry for 45 yrs and I know a good product when I see one. I did my research as best as I could comparing with many others of similar size and decided on the WGen 9500 to run almost everything in my house through the home's breaker box when I loose commercial power. It's a good feeling to know within minutes I can be up and running.

I just got this a month ago and love how easy it is to use. My wife loves the remoter start. It seems well made and I like the user interface. Have only ran it on gas at this time but its so much better than my other generator that Ive had for over 10years.

Having recently lost my husband, I needed a generator both my daughter and I could operate. We couldn't be happier with the easy push button electric start - that also works remotely. Knowing I have the ability to start this generator and power up my house without having to ask my son to drive through a storm to get to me makes it perfect.
