This was our first generator purchase after experiencing losing power for 5 days because of a hurricane. I wanted something with enough power and would be easy enough for my wife to start because I travel often for work. The remote start feature is incredible and it started right up. Highly reccomend.

This is a solid generator equipped with what you need to power anything from a USB charged device to your home. Upon arrival I added oil, connected the battery, put a gallon of gas in the tank, turned the fuel on, and it fired right up (I did turn the fuel on and let the carb bowl fill up first though). I wound up plugging a pop up toaster into the 120v outlets to make sure they all worked and made some toast on the back porch... butter and all. The key fob worked out of the box also. I feel confident in this equipment to perform when it's needed the most... For me it's during power outages.

I just purchased my first portable generator. I was advised to buy a Honda or Briggs&Stratton. When I googled dual fuel generators, Westinghouse popped up. Did research on all three and found that the other two didn't have dual fuel generators. Bob Villa ranked Westinghouse third out of ten generators. Said the Westinghouse 9500 was best the bang for your buck. I picked it up six days after I purchased and looking forward to it keeping a number of things running when and if we lose power. Also be good to use at the deer lease.

Just picked up my new generator. Picked this one so I can use it for when we loose power, located in Vt so with snow and ice storms it happens a bit. Very easy set up with great directions. Not just waiting for me to use it. Getting the tri fuel makes it very nice to be able to switch between the fuel type.

Living in Florida I purchased this generator to run my home in case we get another hurricane like "Irma". It will run my 3 ton14 seer air conditioner, refrigerator, fans, tv, dish washer, washing machine, stove. Not all at the same time. It's easy to move around with the handle. I'm a 68 year young woman and I installed the wheels and feet myself.

One week after the generator arrived we had a huge storm and were left without power for 3 days. This generator did the job!!! Ran the furnace(heat), the well, and everything else we tried. I ran it using a propane tank. I am looking forward to being able to connect it to our natural gas line soon. Now I'm ready to sell my old gas only generator.

I just purchased this generator and did all rechecks and ran unit for about 10 min on propane and was good. Then needed it last night so I hooked it up and it ran power to my items for about 5-8 min and then it died. Tried restarting and it backfired several time and that was it. Would not run. Ended up putting a little gas I had, no more available at night and it finally ran but would not run at all on propane so I was stuck with no power. Call CS and all they will do is send me a new regulator to see if it fixes it but it will take about a week. Wow what a joke and the store I bought it from said they can’t help per policy. This company should be able to call the store and have them supply the part as they sell that part but the manufacturer said they won’t do that. What a joke. I knew I shouldn’t have bought a Westinghouse item and never will again.

Our power was out for 4 days and our neighbor had a generator. They were generous enough to offer us to plug into theirs to keep our refrigerator running. I decided we needed one of our own and was impressed with the description and features of the WGen9500, so I purchased one.

After researching and comparing multiple generators, I decided to purchase this generator. The capability to use gas, propane, or natural gas was a big plus since I live in Florida and do have a natural gas supply. Sometimes gas and/or propane is difficult to find in the immediate area right after a hurricane. The output will be more than enough to run the refrigerator a couple of portable A/C units and lights if our power goes out.

We bought this product in February. We got it set up and did a test run. It met our expectations. Then we had a five-hour power outage a short time later. We were prepared and got our essential equipment set up. We were well pleased with the operation and performance of this generator.
