My kids bought and installed this generator for me. I now have peace of mind knowing I'm covered if the power goes out..as it does quite often where I live . This generator is so easy to start remotely and I couldn't have ask for a better product. . .

I bought this during the great Texas Snowpocalypse and it arrived a few days later when the temp was back up to 70. Oh well, I’ll be ready for the next one. Looks very well built and can’t wait to put it to use. Very easy set up. Battery was already installed. Just add oil. Put on the wheels and feet. Took about ten minutes. I’ll come back and edit if possible after I put it to work.

I bought the generator online. It took over 2 weeks to deliver in the Houston area. The generator and its parts were in good shape visually. The instructions were clear to assemble feet and wheels, but it did take a while because the generator is heavy. I appreciate the hoses provided. Unfortunately, I haven't tried it on yet since I forgot to buy a gas can. My only concern is whether it will fit in my car for transportation.

Put fuel & oil in - push button start fired on 2nd try. Battery was fully charged "WOW". Got me through the recent blizzard in Oklahoma. Ran Central heat, 2 frigs, TV, fans and lights. Got 12 hours out of a tank of fuel. Pretty quiet for such a large generator. Didn't fail me - great generator for the price.

Bought this as a whole home backup. Got the Tri-Fuel so that I will hook it up to the house natural gas line. I will purchase a 100lb propane tank as another option to run the generatot. Set up was easy. The only additional thing I needed to do was put the Carbon canistor back in place because it wasn't secured on the brackets due to shipping most likely. It came with the Natural gas and propane hoses which is a great bonus. I love that it has a remote start and a battery charger to have the battery ready when I need to run it. Get yourself a Westinghouse generator if you need one. You won't regret it

I bought this generator after reading up on generators. I picked it up the other day and so far so good. Everything looks like good quality parts. I don’t really want to use it but when it is time to hopefully it will be dependable as previous reviewers mentioned.

Just set up today and works good so far. one issue is the 50 amp outlet at the generator. The 50amp cord, when plugged in, is problematic to keep a safe connection because of the wheel located right under the outlet connection. You've got to manipulate the very heavy duty cord to be sure the plug stays in. Maybe some cords work better....The design could use some improvement on the operation side. 3 stars are not accurate for the full operating success, but I hope it's a 5 star when the power is out.

What a great machine! The first glance build quality is nice from the push button start to the really nice molded outlet covers. Small amount of assembly but it took a whole 3 min to assemble which is great for anyone to do. Put oil in plugged in battery and took off immediately. My only complaint is I wish there was some sort of on board compartment to store the battery recharge cord.....in a lot of cases this will get misplaced or thrown away because you forgot what it was for and dont need it so Westinghouse please install a little storage box somewhere that the charge cord and spark plug wrench can be with machine at all times. Little part of me wants to lose power so I can use it and now able to power our well pump. Thank you!

Shipping was less than one week. Unboxed the generator, filled with oil, filled with gas, and hooked up the battery fired up with no issues whatsoever. Runs great I am very pleased. I will update my review as I use the generator. My serial number tag however it was obscured from shipping. It was scuffed and could not read the entire number.

I bought this a month ago. Used it once when we experienced the power outage. It is powerful enough for my needs. I like the indicator showing Voltage, Frequency and Time used. Looking forward to get warning about needed preventive maintenance at preset hours, seems to be very clever cost/damage saving feature. I also like automatic choke very much, as it was always dicey to explain to my wife how to operate the old generator with manual choke. Not sure what the gas consumption would be with light load vs. full load, there is no description of this in manual (my old Generac was able to switch to low output). It does not have any oil filter, which I think is a serious omission for such large 13.5HP engine, it would certainly prolong engine life. I wish it had come with the advertised remote control. Needless to say that Westinghouse promised to send me one, since it was missing in original shipment.
