This generator will be an amazing addition to our arsenal of hurricane preparedness goods. Having the 50 amp plug and being tranfer switch ready, we can have it power nearly everything in our house. It uses less fuel than any other generator it's size as far as my research tells me. It's not too difficult to move around and the display is very simple to read. I worry less about power outages with this beast waiting in my garage to keep things powered!

I ordered this right after the major snowstorm in Feb. 2021. The generator arrived on March 10, 2021. It was packed securely and no damage in shipment. I followed the instructions, added the included oil and hit the start button. Nothing! The battery was dead. So, I manually started it. It started on the second pull. I ran it for over an hour and tried to start the generator with the battery. No joy! I put the battery on my battery charger for a while. Reinstalled it in the generator and no joy again. Bad battery. Generator is great! Battery is bad!

I just bought the WGen9500 generator 2 weeks ago to power my home during power outages and am very pleased with it thus far. I feel that I made a great investment especially in time of need when this will be put to work. Based on my research, you can't beat Westinghouse products. I will definitely entertain purchasing products from Westinghouse in the future.

I purchased this generator to power our home in an emergency. I have a 50 Amp connector and a natural gas quick connect on our home. I was very impressed with the generator. It was very easy to set up. 1. Unbox the unit 2. Install legs on the front 3. Install wheels on the rear 4. Fill with the included 10W30 oil 5. Take outside in the open air 6. Connect the 12 volt battery 7. Fill with gasoline 8. Switch the starting source th gasoline 9. Open the gasoline valve to allow fuel to the engine 10. Then push the key fob for 2 seconds and it started the first time To stop it: 1. Push the stop button on the key fob then let it stop automatically 2. Turn off the gasoline valve 3. Turn the fuel selector to off I am extremely impressed with the build quality and simplicity of the generator. It also has a multi-purpose gauge which is very useful.

I recently purchased the tri fuel generator after researching two other brands. The generator is was packaged well, study and seems to be a good build. It came with nice accessories like remote switch and 15’ ft of gas hose. The ability to run on three fuel types is a plus. I can use the generator for my home during power outages with natural gas or take it camping and run it on propane or gasoline. I also like that the manual was well detailed with the maintenance schedule and a parts list. The price point and the reviews from multiple sites also helped make my decision. So far I’m satisfied with my purchase.

I bought this generator on line 3 weeks ago. It just arrived and I was so impressed with the set up process I decided to write a review which I rarely do. The machine is obviously very well built and from reviews I read prior to purchasing, I expect to get years of good service from it. What impressed me so far was how customer friendly the set up process was. The instructions were well written and the illustrations were very helpful. The manufacturer has gone to great effort to make all aspects of setting up this machine as simple and straight forward as possible. I was literally able to set this up and get it started in less than an hour and actually enjoyed doing it.

I recently bought this generator and ran it through the hurricane and was able to power my entire home on propane and gas, I wasn't able to utilize the natural gas as I'll explain in a second. The setup, instructions, and quality of the build have been excellent, and I appreciate the outlet covers which is a feature many don't have. I have only had two problems so far, the first is the supply hose for the natural gas, and the second is the lack of clarity around BTU requirements at peak power. The natural gas supply hose says it is 1/2' in all the advertisements and says it fits 1/2' connections. However, the supply hose is only 1/2' on the male fitting, which has a quick connect already attached. However, the the female side is 3/8', which is the side you'll connect to your home ng supply. This 3/8" fitting creates a reduction point at the supply, and limits the available gas and the overall flow rate. Additionally, the customer support was not able to clarify the BTU's being utilized at peak power, which limits a customer's ability to plan for meter sizing. I currently has a support request with Westinghouse to acquire a new supply hose that has the correct 1/2" fittings on both ends.

I pitched this generator just as an added piece of mind for power outage. Seems well built and was delivered with no problem and in great condition. I added oil and followed instructions on how to pair the remote start and started it with the fob. Great product so far.

After several storms in Texas left our home without power, I decided we needed to get a generator. After doing my research for different brands, I decided on the Westinghouse Tri-Fuel Generator since we have a natural gas hookup. The Westinghouse has been a great decision. It has performed flawlessly and without any issues. I would absolutely recommend a Westinghouse generator for anyone’s backup power needs!

This generator has it all! Came with all the bells and whistles in terms of features and included everything necessary to get started (oil, tool kit, batteries, charger) right out of the box. Powerful, starts fast, runs quietly, and with the 6.6 gallon tank keeps running all night.
