Called the service department prior to installing the generator and they were EXCELLENT! Havent needed to use the generator yet, but the quality of the generator seems very good.

I reviewed many generators prior to finally purchasing a Westinghouse WGen9500 generator. The generator had many of the features I was looking for and it has delivered those and more. It is a very solid machine and has met my expectations so far. I haven't put it to a long term test, but I believe it will perform for my needs. When I have more hours on the generator, I will try to post a review on performance at a later date. It's rather heavy, but the fold down handle makes it easy to maneuver and the panel controls are laid out well.

We purchased this generator to power our home in the event of a power outage. We are running it on propane because it is clean and won’t gum up the carburetor (which it may never do). We hooked up the propane and followed all of the start up directions and it fired right up. We had an interlock put it to transfer our power from the main to the generator. Everything worked perfectly. The electrician said it would run most everything including the hot water heater because we have natural gas. It rolls around easily on its wheels. It’s also not as loud as I would have thought. I’m very impressed with this generator and would highly recommend it.

I bought this item last week. We've been wanting/needing a generator for years now but were finally able to make the investment. After a ton of research, I found that the WGen 9500 was highly rated. It arrived quickly and was incredibly easy to set up. Once I set it up, I added the oil and gas... Pressed the auto start and it instantly fired up! PERFECT. So happy with the purchase so far and can't wait to actually test it out this winter!

SEEMS LIKE A WELL BUILT UNIT, BUT I HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT THE NATURAL GAS OPTION AND HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR OVER TWO WEEKS TO GET THRU TO WESTINGHOUSE TECH SUPPORT. I NEED A LONGER GAS LINE THAN THE ONE SUPPLIED SO I NEED TO KNOW WHAT CAPACITY THE NEW LINE NEEDS TO HAVE. BTU/HR AND MINIMUM PRESSURE . THIS SEEMS TO BE BASIC INFO THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN PROVIDE IN THE SPECS FOR THE UNIT. JUST HOPE IT HOLDS UP BETTER THAN THEIR SUPPORT TEAM !!

I was looking for a quality built generator that I could start using right away with gas this winter but have the option move over to Natural Gas in the spring when the weather allows me to dig the gas line. It has enough power for all the essentials and still enough extra power if needed for extra tasks.

I have not tried it out but specs look good. Nice to have multiple power options for different situations. I would like liked to have known the size of the natural gas insert plug and disconnect connector (1/2 inch) to get the right size quick connection for my home natural gas line

We bought this generator after a storm knocked out our power for two days. We needed something with a lot of power for a low cost. This generator is well built and can run all the essential things we need while the power is out. One thing I especially like is that it has a pull cord to start it in case the battery is dead.

Bought as a backup generator about 3 months ago and have had several occasions to use it so far including one outage that lasted several days. It was quick to set up and get running and has been very reliable so far. The power output is excellent, we run a 2200sqft house on it including 2 refrigerators and 2 freezers. The electric start is a nice feature, it makes it much easier for my wife or daughter to get it going if I’m not home when power goes out.

Bought as a backup generator for my house and honestly hope I never have to use it for that. Easy to assemble, easy to operate (so easy that my 5 y/o started it first time out of the box), looks nice, and seems to be rugged.
