For years I have always loved Applejack's cereal. But I have noticed there is a lot less of the little red specks of real apple peel on them. Used to give them that Apple taste. But they taste totally different now than they did say oh 30 years ago. What's up with that?

I used to be the world's biggest fan of Apple Jacks. I can't quite put my finger on it but they simply don't have the flavor they used to. They seem airy and less substantial. The recipe must have been changed to save money. I urge Kellogg's to go back to the original formula. Until I see that (like Post did with Honeycomb) I won't be buying.

I haven’t had Apple Jacks forever, but just bought a box. What happened to those little cinnamon sprinkles that used to be on the cereal? See them on the picture, up there are absolutely none on the cereal. I think that is why the cereal doesn’t taste like I remember. So sad

I used to eat these in the 80s (and maybe 70s- can't remember when they came out)and now.....these are so disappointing. They are not at all the same. They don't even taste the same. They used to be a pinkish colour, fatter, and rounder and had a super good apple cinnamon taste. They have done to Applejack's what they have done to Fruit Loops... Made them smaller and tasteless! Way to wreck the nostalgia-feeling Kellogg's. Actually makes me sad :( Will NOT buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Apple Jacks by far is the best cereal there is. I eat this cereal as a snack for late night instead of eating anything else. It’s good to put in a ziplock bag and place in your purse for a snack on the go.

Apple Jacks were once my favorite cereal. Used to love the substantial O's with their big red tangy chunks. But now, as many people here have commented, they are virtually flavorless, like eating lightly sweetened styrofoam. The same thing happened to Honeycomb, but happily they have returned to their original delicious style. BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL FORMULA FOR APPLE JACKS PLEASE! .

I love the Apple Jacks cereal. IT IS ONE OF THE BEST! It is so good in cold milk with a slight light crunch or my favourite - heating up the milk for a luke warm milk effect, where you can add the apple jacks cereal so they are 'clearly' softer with a slight crisp - (yes, as common sense does imply). THESE ARE DEFINITLY IN MY TOP THREE!

I just bought a box of Apple Jacks yesterday. I hadn't bought any in years, and my son was excited to have a bowl this morning. What a HUGE disappointment. They are so much smaller. There also used to be a much shinier coating on it, but they are duller now. They are much softer and the worst part is that they are nearly flavorless. Yet, the price hasn't changed. I won't be purchasing these again. I grew up on Kellogg's products and they used to be of such higher quality. Profits>Quality
