[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love Apple Jacks Cereal. I was raised on this brand and it's great to pass this down to my kids as snacks. Cinnamon and apple flavors balance each other out well and it's not overpowering and the milk really makes it better. It's a great addition to your shelf if your kids love cheerios or other bite sized cereals but want some additional flavors to mix in. I put these in ziplock bags and my son snacks on them around the house.

Not like it used to be. I got the share size and this is how much my bag was filled … disappointing as everything is getting more expensive as is. I was very disappointed in the fact that most of my cereal was just the cinnamon loops and hardly any apple . I should not be able to look at my spoon and only see orange loops and no green loops, I definitely did not get apple and cinnamon in every bite like advertised on the box. They used to be wayyyy more tastier :(

I used to love Apple Jacks as a child. ( I am now 63). They were considered a big treat in my house. I’ve bought them occasionally since then, and they were as good as ever. Then I recently bought a box. They were very flavorless. And the texture was different. And there was no cinnamon “bite” to them like I remembered. My husband went and bought me a different box to see if they were any better from a different batch. They were just as disappointing. Which led me to search “Why do Apple Jacks taste different?” Which led me to this forum. I guess I’m not crazy… I will not be buying Apple Jacks again unless I find out that they improve the taste. The moral of this story? Please don’t fix what isn’t broken, Kelloggs.

I've recently retired from a career that left little time to have breakfast from home. I've slowly been incorporating things that brought me comfort prior to the hectic work life. One was being able to take the time to enjoy Apple Jacks again. I bought a large size box on October 12, 2021 (expiration date Aug 27, 2022). The next morning I opened the box and poured a bowl. I was expecting the taste that I remembered from the early 80's. It was nothing like it was in past. At first I thought the milk was bad, but it was fine. I then tasted some without milk and was equally disappointed. I gave a bowl to my two of my grandkids that were over and neither approved of them. Based on what has changed with Apple Jacks, I'm hesitant to try other Kellogg cereals that I previously enjoyed. It is with much anticipation that the original taste can be brought back as well as the large loops and single colored cereal.

Last year I bought a box of Apple Jacks as a comfort food during Covid. I was sadly disappointed. I grew-up on this flavor of Kellogg's. It was a cereal that I 'loved to hate' as it always left my top of my mouth tore-up but it was because it was coated with those little red flavorful crystals and stayed crunchy all the way through the entire huge bowl of pleasureful goodness! However, I was excited to find in my local Department Store a box of Kellogg's Apple Jacks that said "Now With More Cinnamon Deliciousness"! I rushed home with it to find that the quality as well as the delicious taste HAS RETURNED! Thank you Kellogg's for listening to your fans and upping your game... YOU ROCK!!! I am rushing out to buy more boxes for my pantry just 'incase' this boxed-recipe is a limited edition. The expiration date on this box is JUN 18 2022.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have loved Apple Jacks cereal since I was a child. I love the cinnamon taste it has and the colors of the cereal. It may not be healthy for me but it is one of my quilty pleasures when buying cereal. I will sit and snack on it without milk if I don't want to eat it with milk. It also makes a great on the go snack.

I wasn't a fan of adding the green jacks, and there seem to be less cinnamon specks overall, but I've been eating Apple Jacks since I was a kid and it would have to get a lot worse for me to give them up. Love the milk after I finish a bowl. They're also good dry out of the box as a snack.
