When we first got our TP Luxe-adapt in soft, we absolutely did not like it!! For something that's supposed to be soft, it was like sleeping on concrete!! We were ready to return it! But we did like we heard and slept on it for a while and finally after around a month, something changed and I loved it. I read where it has to go through a break in period and something about the cells needing to open up. I guess that's the case! My husband says it's still hard to him but that it's better. Unfortunately he is still having trouble falling asleep on it. Not me though!! My brother has had a TP for 10 years and they love it so we decided to give it a try. LOTS of money, but hopefully will keep us from having to purchase a new bed every 5-7 years. We did not get the adjustable base. Just too expensive for us!! But would have considered if more affordable.

I bought the LuxeAdapt Soft in January and I love this bed! I needed something that was soft enough but supportive. This mattress meets my sleep needs and is so comfortable! I am a side sleeper and sometimes fall asleep on my back and the foam is soft enough for side sleeping and supportive enough for when I sleep on my back. My previous mattress was caving in after less than 2 years of use and wasn't soft enough for side sleeping which left me with neck pain in the morning. There was a break-in period that wasn't too bad and it may have taken a little longer to feel like it did in the store because I am the only one sleeping on the bed and I weigh under 150 lbs so I wanted to wait until the bed was fully broken in to review it. Now that I don't have any pain from sleeping and can spend a full 8 hours in bed I truly love it. It is also a good bed for people who don't find themselves feeling hot at night. I would have gone with the LuxeBreeze but I did not need the extra cooling. All in all, I wouldn't trade this mattress for another!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Where to start, softness, honestly with the softness level that I've noticed I would expect this mattress to be a medium firm not a soft. don't get me this is still a great mattress, just not very soft to me...and my body needs SOFT. That's the only major con for me with this mattress. It is very heavy but that's not really a con unless you have to move it solo. Now the PRO's gotta save the best for last. It does conform to your body pretty well, and it rebounds fast also. Movement really isn't felt across the mattress, I can not tell when there is movement on the other side from my side. I wouldn't be scared to try the egg test or water test on this mattress, that's how strongly I believe in this mattress in that regard. I can't do it though, a houseful of animals, so while the mattress wouldn't dump the water, the animal sure would. No waking or being awoken due to movement. I love this mattress in this regard. The mattress's design is attractive and very soft; you can sleep on it and be comfortable without sheets. In summary, this is an amazing mattress in many areas, really the other downfall for me is it's not soft enough, but my back is horribly messed up, so it may be just my opinion. Do I think it's worth the price, no not really. But if you can afford it and don't need a really soft mattress then this could be just the right mattress for you.

I chose the firm and love it. The was initially worried that I should have got the soft but after a few nights I was sure I made the right choice. It definitely helped my back and neck pain. This mattress is not cheap but I'm happy with it and hope it lasts a long time!

We spent about 2 hours in the store and settled on the LuxeAdapt but unfortunately, it ended up being too soft and sleeps a lot hotter than it felt in the store. It's a Tempur-Pedic so it's still comfortable but not what we were looking for, especially at that price. We have decided to take advantage of the 90-night sleep trial and are in contact with Tempur-Pedic to get it swapped out for the Tempur-LuxeBreeze Firm but have not heard when or if it's being shipped. Hopefully, we'll hear from them soon and the process will go as smoothly as promised. However, they did warn me that they will only swap the mattress out once so keep that in mind when deciding on mattresses or replacements.

I keep questioning if this mattress was worth the money. I haven't came up with a answer yet. I will say this, I am sleeping 6-7 hours straight at night. I have not done that in YEARS!! My dog is nine and I had to retrain him not to wake me up during the night to void. So my sleep hours are great. The adjustable base really helps with my sinuses. Now for the things that I'm not pleased with: My shoulder and hip hurts more with this bed than my last and I am not happy with the split mattresses. Also this bed is not good for intimacy. The split is odd and your mate seems to be so far away. I would have kept a queen size bed over a king. Also customer service is amazing!!

Received a king size luxeAdapt for my master bedroom after owning an older tempurpedic model for the last 10 years. We've always loved our old mattress, but were itching to find out how much the technology has improved. The LuxeAdapt is miles beyond what we expected. Firm, without feeling like I'm sleeping on a slab, soft enough to hold our natrual curves but not so soft that you feel like you can't get out of bed without six-pack abs. We've now had it for a couple of months and I have to peel myself out of bed every morning. Conversely, if I'm feeling well-rested, I have the energy to spring right out without having to tenderly stretch out all my body parts and pray something didn't get strained in the middle of the night. Low maintenance, high comfort, and near instant sleep once my head hits the pillow. Couldn't be happier.

Fixn to retire and getting my must haves out of the way. Number 1 was a new Harley Road King. Number 2 was a new Tempurpedic. I have slept on tempupedics for 10 years and they just get better. This one is the best so far. Other mattresses in my world do not compete(In any way). Pricey but well worth it! Now for number 3.......

We are just over one week in with our new mattress. So far it has been great. I have back problems, and this mattress has already started helping with that. Thanks Tempurpedic! Highly recommend the luxe adapt medium hybrid. The decrease in motion transfer from our previous mattress has been great also.

We had a Tempurpedic mattress for 15 years that we loved. However, it was a firm model with no plush topper built in. As we age (we're in our 70s), our bodies are less forgiving. So when we decided to get a new Tempurpedic, we opted for this model. We had slept several nights in this model as guests, so we were confident we would like it. It is pricey, but when we think of the time we will use it, and the comfort it delivers, it is definitely worth the investment.
