I love the simple tile layout that Roku uses over all other streaming devices. The simple design makes it not only look nice but also makes it easy to use and find what app yo want to use. The support for 4K is a must for me which the Ultra fully supports. I love the new rechargeable remote. It is about time that this feature is built into the remote instead of having to search for batteries when they go dead!!!

I've used Ultras for years! Everything has streamed smoothly and I've not had any serious issues with any that I've owned. I do wish that I could turn off or at least dim the light on the front, it stays on even in rest mode so I have to put tape over the one in my bedroom.

Purchased a month ago. After learning how to use it and set up the video and sound parameters I couldn’t be happier. This is well built and thought out. The picture is better than cable and the programming is almost endless. Would definitely buy it again! I rarely watch cable channels since getting the Roku and plan on dropping cable tv. I wish there were a couple more short cut buttons instead of the two it has but am happy with them.

I started with the Roku 4k+ and I recently upgraded to the Ultra. It's Fantastic!!! Works faster and I like the ability to connect to my router via Ethernet. I'm telling everyone I know to ditch their other streaming devices and make the switch to Roku.

Main reason for purchasing this Ultra was the volume control AND earbuds so that I could watch in same room as partner while they slept But the earbuds are uncomfortable ESPECIALLY while laying down Also the earbud jack loosens easily creating excruciating loud crackling sounds in my delicate ears

I bought the extreme Roku system. It’s well worth the money difference. My TV selections of the Apps are very fast to respond. No lag time at all. I really like the the new remote used. It has a re-chargeable battery. No more adding new batteries. You definitely will not be disappointed that you purchased this excellent system.

This is garbage. I am a fan of Roku products, but not this thing. Sound cuts out all the time in Netflix. When watching HBO Max if you pause then unpause a show, it brings you several minutes back, to parts I already saw. Every day I have to unplug it to get rid of the black static sounding screen. Went back to Roku 3, old reliable.

So, today, I am at home enjoying my Saturday afternoon, looking forward to switching between apps or watching various videos on YouTube; however, today won't be that day because my Roku remote control needs charging, and I didn't receive a notification through my Roku App that my remote control battery is at 10% capacity. This means that I have to plug in the USB (the remote control is battery-operated), and watching TV by flipping between apps is not an option at this time because I can't unplug the charger.

We decided to buy the Roku Ultra after first using the Roku Express, and while the Express was good, the Ultra is better for us as our living room streaming device. We have a mesh router system with the ability to connect to the Ultra via ethernet and the performance has been excellent. We do not have a 4K/HDR TV, but the picture quality is great. The remote is better quality than the Express which my wife loves.

This replaces a Roku 4k. It has a lot of very nice features and is now our go-to source. We do AppleTV off it too, because the remote is so much better. But every so often it starts up with a loud clicking noise We have to unplug and replug to get rid of it. Others have complained of this. We use CEC through an LG TV to a Pioneer receiver. We have another one through a HisenseTV to an Onkyo receiver that turns on fine, but when we turn it off, it stops and then comes right back on. I have to shut down everything manually.
