I was surprised that it had no headphone output jack. Seems you can have either a headphone model or a backlit keyboard but not both. When you go to the streambox the screen is just a blank wallpaper with no home screen channels on it. My old one always went to the screensaver image. Trying to sign in to all of my ROKU channels was a nightmare. Had to go to every one of them and sign in. Hidden sound settings had me stumped for a few days. Still not sure what the modes all mean.

Bought the ultra when my smart TV stopped being so smart. It's been a huge improvement with streaming! I like how I can now access any platform instead of only "vendor approved" channels. The only thing I'd recommend as an improvement is to have all the login credentials saved when you login to you Roku account. I ended up buying 3 more roku devices and having to login to Netflix, Amazon, etc... for each one is a bit annoying. But not a huge deal.

The previous Roku I had kept cutting out and overheating. It was so frustrating. Roku had a big sale and I decided to take a chance and upgrade to this model. Very very happy that I did. I may even upgrade my other Rokus next time Roku has another fabulous sale!!

I have 5 Roku streaming players. 3 of them are Ultra's. I recently purchased another Ultra which has more features than my older ones which include Dolby Vision and ATMOS. I wanted to take advantage of my recent Sonos sound system that I bought. What a mistake. The sound synchronization is always off and gets worse as you watch. I have tried everything. Tons of time and research into this issue has left me with no results. Screen blackouts is another issue. For no reason, switching channels on live TV will result in a blackout lasting up to ten seconds. This does not happen with every channel, but it happens daily. Why?? No clue. Power off???????? Does it actually work????? The new Terms and Conditions agreement is also a joke. I have bought my last Roku. I may actually give the ones I have away to family members and go with another brand.

The Roku Ultra is great to 4K Streaming. The Roku Ultra has the top streaming services to choose from plus so many more. The rechargeable remote seems to hold a decent charge, although the design can use improvement. The blu-tooth ear pieces deliver quite the impressive sound. The Roku Ultra can be paired to Amazon's Echo devices. If you have an existing Roku Account, set-up is quick.

I bought the extreme Roku system. It’s well worth the money difference. My TV selections of the Apps are very fast to respond. No lag time at all. I really like the the new remote used. It has a re-chargeable battery. No more adding new batteries. You definitely will not be disappointed that you purchased this excellent system.

Love the headphone option for personal listening, and that it uses a regular ol' headphone jack! Love that this makes any TV a 'smart' TV. My actual Sa**ung Smart TV decided not to be compatible with my Am**on Pr*me app anymore (seeming like a gimmick to make me have to replace the whole TV), but instead I bought this Roku Ultra and we are good to go! It works every time, no glitches, easy to use. Have to say it's my favorite technology. Nothing works like it's supposed to anymore except the Roku Ultra - it's a reliable and wonderful product. I recommend it to everybody and have one in each room with a TV.

Was afraid that this wouldn't work as well as what I was already using, but that turned out to be unwarranted. Roku was easy to set up, and work seamlessly. Love having all of my apps at my fingertips when I first log on. Just wish I could reprogram some of the quick start buttons with apps I subscribe too.

We were so nervous to cut the cord, but truly my ROKU is BETTER than I could’ve ever imagined! There are so many live TV channels and the way they lay out the Home Screen helps gives you options to get things situated just how you want with your different subscriptions. We already went back for a second box for another room.

So far this has been a great product. It recognized that my TV had the ability to play higher definition and showed me how to update those settings on the TV. The apps work great and I like being able to customize the background and screensaver. The reason this doesn't get a full 5 stars though is because even though I have the screensaver to be pictures I uploaded, it doesn't always play that screensaver. Also the inability to change the preset buttons on the remote is highly frustrating. There are two other buttons where I can create my own shortcuts but it would be best if I could have more by customizing/changing the others. (I don't have Paramount+, Apple TV, Netflix so those are now wasted buttons and wasted space on my remote)
