Long lasting power for tailgates

Purchased this for tailgating and it worked like Champ! Haha. Only one concern, it was outside sitting on a dirt path away from us and for some reason the CO2 sensor kept tripping. I had to reposition it several times. There was a light wind, so not sure if that was the cause.

WOW

Bought this unit tonight and it is currently running its break in time! I bought 3 gens tonight, 2 Champs and 1 Honda and I’ll tell you that both Champs fired up on the first pull where as the Honda took 4! The moment the 2500 started and the 4000 kicked off I was blown away on how quiet they both were! I’m thinking we got us a couple dandy’s here! I haven’t had to test the safety aspect of the unit but I lie that it detects the carbon monoxide and shuts down! Ultra light weight, easy to move around and seems to be quite efficient!

Awesome product

Bought this generator yesterday to be a power back-up for our sump pump. After following the quick start up instructions and reading the user manual, it started right up on the first pull. About one hour after running, I plugged in the sump pump and it ran like new. Never have to worry about losing power again. And being so portable is an extra plus. Noise is nowhere near as loud as I thought it would be.

Unseated internal cover

I tried 'contact us' first and the page didn't work. Didn't really want to write a public review but will now as the other methods aren't working. I am writing to make you aware of a manufacturing flaw in the generator received. The cover above the oil fill was not seated. I received my new generator recently. I read through the manual and then opened the compartment to get familiar with the parts and maintenance instructions. The cover that is above the oil dipstick was not sealed. At the top left, the cover was caught on the metal screw frame. The two parts of the cover had a gap, and the clip was extended to connect the front and back of that cover. I was able to remove the clip and seat the cover properly and tighten the clip for proper seating. I don't know that this would have affected the operation, but that oversight makes me wonder if the parts I cannot see are connected, secured, and seated properly. I chose Champion because of a trust in my previous generator for close to 10 years. I hope the quality is still up and this one will do the same.

Quiet, light, easy starting

Bought this back in July as a back-up for the solar when its cloudy or we are in the trees. Starts first pull, and we usually run it at night, and just let it run out of fuel. My only complaint is the CO senor is a bit too sensitive. we tried running it in the bed of the truck... nope... has to have free air all around it. Quiet. we leave it on eco mode, when batteries charged, idles down nicely

Great small inverter generator

I have a larger champion inverter generator that has been running smoothly for the last 7 years. I had a need for a smaller more portable inverter generator. This generator is exactly what I needed.

EXCELENT PRODUCT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this for a few months, and it works great! It's not too noisy, & gets the job done! Use it all the time at work to run our work lights.

Another great Champion product!

I already own a Champion Model 46593 (Output 4000/3500) generator which has never disappointed - always running like a champion. I just needed a generator that was more portable for camping and excursions to the NC core banks. This Champion 2500 W was the perfect fit, compact yet the power I need to run the cabin at the south core banks. The generator is exceptionally quiet, super easy to setup, and has the ability to power essential appliances and lights. Even with a full tank of gas, it can be easily caried by one person. I like the ease of the controls and the efficiency where a gallon of gas will last hours. The carbon monoxide sensor is sensitive to be safe and make sure you run the genny an open outdoor area. Once again, Champion does not disappoint with the 2500W Inverter.

great little genny

Been using this Champion generator on job sites for about 8 months now and it's been pretty solid overall. At 39 pounds it's way easier to haul around than the old Briggs we had - me and my buddy can toss it in the truck bed no problem. Powers our tools just fine, ran a circular saw and drill at the same time without any issues. The quiet operation is nice when we're working residential jobs, neighbors don't complain as much compared to the loud ones we used to use. Fuel economy is decent, usually get through a full day on one tank if we're not running it constantly. Had it crap out on me once during a cold morning in March - took about 6 pulls to get her going but after that ran smooth Only real complaint is the recoil can be a bit finicky sometimes, especially if you don't prime it right. Overall it does the job for the price point. Not the fanciest but gets our crew through the day without breaking the bank or our backs carrying it around.

Great for adventures!

We bought this 3 months ago and am so happy with the product! We used it camping as the National Parks do not have electricity. It was the quietest generator in the campground! It doesn't get hot, we were able to use it and pack it away immediately. Over the course of 10 days we didn't even use a full gallon of gas and ran it comfortably. At each campground we had campers stop by to see what brand it was.
