I thought Benefiber would be better since I don't like the orange flavor of Metamucil, but Benefiber Does Not work near as well as Metamucil does. You have to take more Benefiber vs Metamucil for it to do anything. Plus, for me, Benefiber did not bulk up my stools at all. Benefiber made my stools muddy and smeary every single time I took it. It was awful and I gave it a two week trial too. I just wasn't impressed with Benefiber because my doctor said it would bulk up stool just the same as Metamucil, but it does not. Also, keep in mind, Benefiber is wheat dextrin which is not good for people who are sensitive to gluten and it's highly proscessed, unlike Metamucil which is minimally processed. I'll still with Metamucil.

What does one say about fiber? It helps my bathroom trips be easier and if it's not, the Swiffer wet sheets clean it will work a fantastic smell.
