We're sorry this happened. Tide Pods are designed to dissolve completely, and our products go through many quality checks to ensure reliable performance. The first step we recommend it to rinse the quilt under the hottest water safe for the fabric, and remove as much of the stain as possible. Wring out the garment and lay it out flat. Apply rubbing alcohol or an antibacterial hand gel to the stain making sure it covers the entire stain. If unsure of colour fastness of item or if the item is synthetic test on a similar fabric or inside fold first. If using antibacterial hand gel, make sure that the hand gel used is clear and contains alcohol. Allow alcohol or hand gel to soak in to stain for 10 minutes and then rewash the item as part of your normal wash. To get the best from the Pods, we recommend making sure they're added before laundry, and have room to dissolve.
